From Adam to Adam, Alpha to Omega
Changing Your Biblical Perception
Ever notice how certain parts of language work? Every idea seems to be compared to something physical. We “consume” knowledge and “chew it over” to ponder it, or we “run them over” in our mind. We “value” ideas by their worth, hence we use words like “value” as if ideas are equal to money. In fact there is little mentally that we don’t compare to some physical phenomena. Why? Maybe it’s because ideas are hard to quantify without a real world experience to describe them. And maybe it’s because we learn by our observations of the physical world and so we think in what we see.
The mind works in imagery and so we dream. Conscious thoughts are the invisible filtered mind at work that is reasoning things out. These thoughts are still based upon physical phenomena at their root, but since the conscious mind is more astute and the thoughts are more complex than the subconscious mind, it doesn’t need to rely on the root imagery that the thoughts were originally made from. But dreams are the unfiltered thoughts of the subconscious mind that are much less complex and rely heavily upon the root images to reason things out. In fact dreams are so real that, at times, it’s hard to tell the difference from a dream and reality.
This language of the mind that reasons with images is the core principal for reading the hidden aspects of the Bible. Once you understand the concept and how to interpret what it’s really saying it will transform you from the observer of the stories to the participant of their realities.
Remember the entire Bible is using allegories and parables to teach you deeper truths. The stories at face value are not the key. It’s the language of tongues you need to know to understand what’s really being said. This is not the gibberish you hear in some religious circles; this is an actual language of ideas as symbols. These symbols are using real life objects to paint deeper impactful concepts to help you heal from a life of ignorant thoughts.
The Life of an Idea as a Person
Consider the life of a thought as an example. The life of an idea emulates the life of a person perfectly.
Like a person the life of an idea starts with a birth. We call this birthing process “conception” because it compares to the birth of a child.
Once an idea is conceived it quickly grows from an adolescent concept unto a fully grown and mature ideal. For this matter you see very little mention of children going through an adolescent period in the Bible. The stories may start with a conception, but they generally skip or speed past adolescence and then hurry on to maturity.
Just like people ideas mingle with other ideas. They interact by the mind reasoning through how one thing relates to another. In this way a concept may determine its function better.
All ideas need to be tested to find their worth. They fight with competing principals, or they seek greater understanding. They find their truth and worth through their endeavors. In other words they find their value like a young man at the time would seek his fortune.
As a concept finds its value it then relates to itself on how this ideal should be used and so it marries or joins to the wisdom of self that is depicted as a woman in the Bible.
As an idea is applied to the self an understanding is formed and it gives birth to the next concept that will occupy the mind of the thinker. And thus a birth is conceived that will start the next step in the growth process of understanding. So each idea is now the parent of a new idea that was birthed by the process.
Once an idea has been fully realized and understood it reaches the end of its discovery process. We often use the term of “we laid that idea to rest” because we no longer need to think about something and so that concept dies. But once the idea has ceased the memory remains and so it becomes entombed in a shrine of the mind as a memorial (sepulchure: to remember). So all dead and buried people in the Bible are really fully understood ideals.
The final judgment is the weighing out of the merit of each truth to see if it is worthy of the status as a higher ideal that can be elevated to a higher state of reasoning like an angel to guide other concepts, or is it heavy and sent down to the grave of darkness where it is found to be less than worthy of elevation. Light verses dark. A greater understanding verses a common knowledge. Something useful or simply just information.
If an idea is not laid to rest as fully understood it can haunt your mind as an unresolved idea, or as a spirit. Often these spirits are lost at sea because the water is the primary concept for the process of consciousness. All people symbolically lost at sea in the Bible become symbolically as fish that are seeking the light of reason. Hence Jesus calls His disciples the “fishers of men” who bring lost souls unto the light.
The entire Bible is the story of ideals that come into being through a process of enlightenment. One idea leads to another and this brings about a lineage of many truths that stack up upon each other. All these ideas are seen in the stories as people, but hidden in their names and in their journeys is a deeper truth about your process to self-discovery. This is the primary reason that each person (personal idea) is born, grows, tries, fails and rises up again. Few ideals are perfectly understood until they complete the challenges of the testing of the mind. This testing is called the “sun” because it tests all men (ideals) through the fires of reason. Each mental day is a trial in understanding whereby truth is uncovered as being either righteous or false.
Therefore I went about to cause my heart to despair of all the labour which I took under the sun.
And I saw another mighty angel come down from heaven, clothed with a cloud: and a rainbow was upon his head, and his face was as it were the sun, and his feet as pillars of fire:
So keep in mind as you read the Bible that each person is more than a physical person and are really a spiritual or mental process that started from the first Adam until the last Adam. Adam means man (idea), the alpha and the omega, beginning and end. From Adam to Christ. The living and spiritual man. This is all about a lineage of truth that builds up the common mind (you) from a slave of ignorance unto a god of the inner world.
And so it is written, The first man Adam was made a living soul; the last Adam was made a quickening spirit.
It is only when you can master your understanding that you can relate to the one True God that masters the universe outside of you. And once you do you will then have Christ within (TRUTH, the universal mirror of God).
But we all, with open face beholding as in a glass the glory of the Lord, are changed into the same image from glory to glory, even as by the Spirit of the Lord.
The Tree of Life is Christ. This is the family tree of truth. It’s really a process of discovery that builds you up from ignorance to enlightenment and thus the WORD of God is the Family Tree of truth that grows within you. Christ is symbolic for you gaining the ultimate understanding within you.
For now we see through a glass, darkly; but then face to face: now I know in part; but then shall I know even as also I am known.
Christ = Wisdom is “The Truth” and the “Tree of Life” = Truth
And in that day there shall be a root of Jesse, which shall stand for an ensign of the people; to it shall the Gentiles seek: and his rest shall be glorious.
He shall cause them that come of Jacob to take root: Israel shall blossom and bud, and fill the face of the world with fruit.
For he shall be as a tree planted by the waters, and that spreadeth out her roots by the river, and shall not see when heat cometh, but her leaf shall be green; and shall not be careful in the year of drought, neither shall cease from yielding fruit.
The fruit of the righteous is a tree of life; and he that winneth souls is wise.
(WISDOM) She is a tree of life to them that lay hold upon her: and happy is every one that retaineth her.
He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches; To him that overcometh will I give to eat of the tree of life, which is in the midst of the paradise of God.
