“jimmied letters” Unleashing Your Dreams

“jimmied letters” Unleashing Your Dreams

I love dreams… and handwriting analysis too, which after years of being intrigued by it, graduated in it.  Scary thing is, when I WRITE!!  I can see the changes in my life happening.

Writing is very cathartic and healing to the spirit. It allows a side of you that is hidden to come to the surface, and with it underlying truths began to reveal themselves. It is really quite interesting to see how this works. This is why being a teacher makes you such a better student. By expressing and teaching a truth you begin to see that same truth from may angles, and you are then able to express it more thoroughly.

Our spirit life and our real life are so intertwined, that there really is little delineation of one from the other. This is why the Bible too is written like a mirror, to reflect these truths in our lives. But seeing the thread that links the two sides together takes a little practice and a founding knowledge to understand it properly. It’s not that our waking lives and sleeping lives are the same in reality, but your dreams tell you about your spiritual-self and your desires in the real world. It is a case of your inner world mirroring the outer world in feelings and how we interact with the world outside of ourselves. What I am trying to teach on this blog with my “Dreams” posts is not to show-off, or bring about some spooky superstitious entity. It is mostly logic based, and based on the exact same principles the Bible is based on. A spiritual truth mirroring a real world event and vise versa.

Our spiritual lives are as important to us as our physical ones. And when either one is out of balanced, or ignored our balance in life becomes lopsided. It’s like a bird that flies all the time is only good at flying and not very good at walking. And birds that walk all the time are not very good at flying. Generation after generation of this heavy reliance on this one skill has created a permanent effect on their biological life. Well, the same is true for us human beings, only it doesn’t take generations to learn to become good at only one aspect and ignore another till it cripples that attribute in your life. We need to learn to be both enlightened spiritually, and to also live our lives as one driven by a purpose. The physical-self and spiritual-self need to be in-tuned with each other, or our lives tend to get heavy on one side more than the other, and our straight and narrow path is easily lost as we turn in either direction. This is the essence of your spiritual walk. Being wise and being grounded in reality at the same time. Theory and application united as one. Hence the Bible gives us this definition:

Matthew 10:16 “Behold, I send you out as sheep in the midst of wolves. Therefore be wise as serpents and harmless as doves.

This is a call to be obedient and devoted to your spiritual walk like the sheep, and also staying non-aggressive in your efforts to achieve your goals unlike the wolf. Be also wise and grounded like the snake. And be enlightened and innocent like the dove. This is the perfect balance and the secret of life.

But in today’s world we have shut the door to the freedom of the Spirit/spirit, and most people, even most Christians, don’t realize what it is that we are being called to do with our everyday life. We seem to rely on our God with our efforts and prayers as if to propitiate an angry god with deals and sacrifices, like some primitive tribe trying to feed and appease it and keep it from letting our lives go to ruins. But instead we need to learn to slow down and actually listen, heeding that small voice calling out from within you, to be centered in self (Not selfishness), or rather be balanced between the two worlds of life and spirit.

When we pray it is like holding down the button on a CB radio. That is a constant YOU broadcast that you are making known to God. GOD I NEED. LORD I WANT. HELP ME TOO DO THIS ONE THING FATHER AND I WILL NEVER DO THIS OTHER THING EVER AGAIN…  And these things all have their place, though God hears your prayers before you ask. The asking part of our prayers is more for our sake, or the one we are asking for, and not so much for God. The asking in prayer is actually a way to unburden yourself of the needs you have, and to rely on Him to help you achieve or acquire it.

Whereas the worship of your life is an offering of Love from you to Him, and that is for both for your joy and His. Our life’s worship is always appreciated if done with joy and innocence. But we need to learn to let go of that button on the CB sometimes. You can worship nonstop just by living a life of love, but the asking is another matter. We need to learn to hear the broadcast that is being aired only for you by His Holy Spirit. This is called meditation. But we don’t always listen very carefully. Christians and non-Christians alike, we shut the door to truth in the spirit in ourselves. We constantly shut the door on Jesus, even though we are calling out to Him to come in and dine in our hearts. Why? Because we don’t know Jesus for who he really is in our everyday life.

Revelation 3:20 Behold, I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears My voice and opens the door, I will come in to him and dine with him, and he with Me.

Jesus is freedom. That is what the name Jesus actually means. Freedom (Savior or Salvation). He is named Savior for a reason. It is because he gives us the Way of true freedom in our lives, and releases us from our own self-imposed bondage to the world and all it craves (Our desires). This is not a starvation diet where we deny ourselves of life. It is instead learning to be freed from your limitations so they will not control you. If you feel trapped in a situation, then you struggle to hold onto control, or you rebel in the extreme opposite direction like attracting and repulsing poles of a magnet. But when the choice is yours fully to make, without restriction, you kind of look at a thing and say, “That’s nice, but I really don’t need that in my life right now”. In this manner nothing controls you because it has no hold on you. It may seem counterintuitive to let something go free to control it, but this is fundamentally sound in many aspects of life.

1 Corinthians 6:12 All things are lawful for me, but all things are not helpful. All things are lawful for me, but I will not be brought under the power of any.

1 Corinthians 10:23 All things are lawful for me, but not all things are helpful; all things are lawful for me, but not all things edify.

Knowing Jesus, is knowing what Jesus represents in your life. And also knowing what He symbolically means to your spirit, and how He gives you freedom. Jesus is the middle ground and bridge in the spirits inside you. He is the bridge of the real world and the spiritual world. He is both man and God. This is also symbolic of Him walking on the waters of Galilee. In the beginning of creation the waters were divided. This is the division of the spirits within your world. The bitter waters of below, or the bitterness of life. And then there is the waters of above that we can not touch till they rain down their refreshing truth. This is the ideal pureness of God in your life. So between these spirits inside you is an ark. A boat is the balance of spirits. It is the middle ground of both waters above and below. So Jesus plays the role of the ark (boat), and He bridges the two waters or spirits (above and below). Jesus doesn’t need the boat to bridge the spirits. He is the boat. He is the bridge. Freedom (Jesus) is the balance of the spirits. Thus Jesus is the Way of the straight and narrow path. This is, in part, you finding the balance of your spirit-life and real-life with freedom as the bridge in between.

John 14:6 Jesus said to him, “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me.

Our true goal is to learn to be like God. Not a god or anything like that, but to learn to rule our spirit world as God rules the real world. This is how we mirror Him with our lives.

2 Corinthians 3:18 But we all, with unveiled face, beholding as in a mirror the glory of the Lord, are being transformed into the same image from glory to glory, just as by the Spirit of the Lord.

So, as you write you are healing and growing. You are marrying the two worlds of the spiritual and the physical together. This is the same as the bride that the Bible is always talking about as being the New Jerusalem. Please understand that the name Jerusalem means, the city of peace. And a city in your spirit world is symbolic of a state of being, both emotional and spiritual. So the city of Jerusalem is the state of being at peace, or wholeness of self. And the New Jerusalem, the bride, is the mirrored truth of you finding your new peace within your inner world. This is the bridging, or joining of the spirits into balance.

Revelation 18:23 The light of a lamp shall not shine in you anymore, and the voice of bridegroom and bride shall not be heard in you anymore…

Revelation 21:2 Then I, John, saw the holy city, New Jerusalem, coming down out of heaven from God, prepared as a bride adorned for her husband.

9 …”Come, I will show you the bride, the Lamb’s wife.”

Revelation 22:17 And the Spirit and the bride say, “Come!” And let him who hears say, “Come!” And let him who thirsts come. Whoever desires, let him take the water of life freely.

The spiritual version of the groom and the bride is the joining of the mind with the heart. It is a marriage of spiritual unity. Again the lamb is Jesus, who is the sacrifice for our freedom. Jesus’ name is freedom, and He is also freedom in the spirit. And His self-sacrifice is as the mirror of your self sacrifice of your innocence in obedience, as the lamb/sheep. A pure sacrifice of innocence to know and understand as God understands.

So just as the Word of God is living, so do most words we write. Our truth’s often come to life in our writing. It is a beautiful and powerful thing to see our spirit life merging with our real life, and the mirror itself, is the words on paper. We can reflect a spiritual truth in us, as we read it in the physical world. And those that read what you write consume your truths and then take them within. This is why I wish more people wanted to know more about what I teach. There is so much beauty in knowing how to read and understand the book we call the Bible. It is filled with MUCH more than the stories and the supernatural elements we love and fear. It is the book of hidden truths that are mirrored in your life. It is the mirror we reflect upon and when we learn to see clearly, we learn to see the truth in everything. And all-of-a-sudden, all of life begins to unfold into harmony and it all just makes sense.

But I do applauded you for your unleashing your spirit in words. And just as words can be poison to the soul, they can also be very healing. So please let your quill dip in the inkwell of your soul, and draw out the blood (the wine), the joy and essence of life, and write from your heart words that wield a truth that can cut through the veil we blind ourselves with each day. And help free the spirits self-bound in foolishness, and blindness, that hinders our spiritual Way and journey of life.

Stay tuned, big things are coming! AND if you liked this spread the Word!

Oh, that everyone would receive that truth! Thank you for this post. So much for the old schoolyard chant, “Sticks and Stones will break my bones, but words will never hurt me!” Words can hurt more than people know.

I recently wrote a post about how I used to “prostitute” my writing…not using it to glorify God! My hope is now that when people read my writing it would lead them to God’s truth – not man’s lies.

Thank you for your ministry 🙂

  2. Daniel, beautiful picture you included here, and your writing is great piece of artworks. Every last thing was down to Earth and special. I look forward to reading your posts and exploring your site! I am a 8th grader and I certainly love to write and do the basic doings of what all people should do, and I was thinking about some good jobs for high school (part time). What are some basic jobs for high school students? I have a restaurant near by and perhaps I could serve food there as a waitress or something like that?
I greatly liked your blog and I give you support to write more inspiring posts,

  3. Very inspiring post and the photo is calming… There are blessings and creative gifts that come to us from above and we must use them and share them with others…

  4. Listening to that broadcast to us, meditation, is what allows us to experience the love and peace that God has for us. It calms the static in our lives and makes it so we can reflect that love and peace to others. Having come through a lot of that, lately, I can really appreciate this post. We should never stop listening, so that we will never stop loving and reaching outward! Blessings!

  5. I agree with you that our spirit life and real life are intertwined…You are such an encouragement in Christ. And I feel that one of the gifts the Lord has asked me to use is to encourage and pray for others. Sometimes it’s in the writing that I come into contact with the needs of others…so you’ve given me a lot to think about. Blessings, Debra

  6. Daniel, I believe this is one of the most insightful and explanatory piece you have yet to write. As I read and reflect on your observations and insights and then apply them to the biblical truths it is simple. It truly is amazing. It’s as if God, Jesus our Lord and Savior is using your talents and gifts as He did the prophets. Thank you for being patient with so many of us that were never TAUGHT, but merely believed.

Blessings on excellent work with your words….

  7. This was wonderful to read. I know I have forgotten in the past to show enough gratitude and said to many of the I want, I need,I promise. I am now trying to learn to meditate and I am thanking God daily for all the blessings I have received. I am happy in the Lord and I feel my writing is what I’m supposed to be doing. You have a wonderful blog and I know it will touch many. Blessings to you.

  8. Daniel, touching post today. I really enjoyed it down to the last minute. In fact, the last two paragraphs of summation for the article’s subject purpose; was the best. It is the very idea that I have been pondering for about 4 months now. After being the prodigal daughter for the past 7 years and returning home to the Lord’s table; I have so been struggling with: what do I do now with my life, career, relationships, and basically just everyday living in application to this world now that I am back. Living a life for the Lord in today’s world is just amazingly eye opening. While the Lord never changes this world does and people do especially in the church. Loving searching the Word these days. After maturing and growing personally; life in the WORD seems the only place I can find real Truth and wisdom to live everyday life as we know it. In His Love, Michelle
