It’s a holiday weekend here and I plan to take a few days off to spend quietly with family and reflect on the gentle pleasures in life. But I will be back early next week with new posts to make you think and help awaken your spirit. This next one won’t be a typical post, but one more in-depth into why this ministry is so important. This is not a typical ministry to make you feel better and to encourage you about your choice of coming to the Lord. There are plenty of other Christian leaders that are great at touching on the good feelings. We are here not to bring your feelings of joy but to help bring you peace by opening the doorway to understanding, and sometimes it’s a little messy from disuse. But it’s time to change. In the days of old prophets came not to tell us we had it all right, but when we had it wrong and needed help in changing. In fact, if a prophet came into the world today he may not even be recognized if he didn’t say things people wanted to hear. We are not here to preach only the good news but the truth that is needed, and God’s prophets are starting to awaken again. This is not about prophecy of future events but about awakening the human spirit that is in tune with its Creator. So the world has slept for far too long. The message has awoken again from its 2000 years of slumber. He has risen again in His Word. Christ has come again in the heart that beats in us all. He is calling. Are you listening? Because He is here! Pray, be open… and be ready. Continue reading A Time to Reflect
Today is National Prayer Day in this country
Earlier I asked 7,519 followers if they had any prayer requests to please post them either through twitter, or through my post online. To which I received only 3 requests. I guess the world must be doing “Just fine” and in little need of some love. :) Continue reading Prayer Request

To my loyal readers I would like to apologies for taking so long between posts. Life sometimes gives us lemons and to make lemonade it can take a while to squeeze the lemons. I have fallen upon some hard times despite the blessing the Lord has given me. Continue reading To my loyal readers

Have you ever wanted your life to be something more,
something greater and bigger than the life you’re living now, or the old life you lived in the past? Is it even possible to be more than yourself; to be more than what the world taught you to be? If I followed the path of life that I was on before, I would be a very different man than I am today. But I didn’t. Life took a dramatic turn for me and handed me a new direction that I never thought or expected to be possible. The philosophies that I built my old life upon were flawed but now I want to be a better person. I want to love more and complain less. Try harder; work harder, but not so much as to lose sight of the simple things that make life so beautiful. I want more close friends and fewer enemies. I want to appreciate this life not only for what it is, but also for the possibilities it presents, and also for those that are hidden from my everyday view. I want my choices to always be right; I want to always do the right thing, even when no one else is looking. And if my choices can’t be right, then I want them to be made for the right reasons. I know life is hard sometimes, but I choose not to make it harder by playing a fool. I find I play the fool too many times in my own life. I make choices based on my feelings at the moment rather than what I know to be right in my heart. Continue reading To Be Something More!
Isaiah 40:6 A voice says, “Call out.” Then he answered, “What shall I call out?” All flesh is grass, and all its loveliness is like the flower of the field. 7 The grass withers, the flower fades, When the breath of the LORD blows upon it; Surely the people are grass. 8 The grass withers, the flower fades, But the word of our God stands forever.
How does God see us?
Or rather how do we see God is maybe a better question? Continue reading Seeing God
