It’s been a hard day. Some days work out the way you want and then others go so far in the other direction that you simply can’t find the answers for the right path to take. Frustrations are simply a part of life, but they certainly aren’t pleasant.
Today I learned that my mother’s bank account has been bled dry by someone that managed to get ahold of her account info. I feel like my hands are tied and worse yet she didn’t keep track of the account till checks started bouncing… So far everyone has told her that there is nothing that can be done about it either because she waited for too long to act.
Also Teresa and I got hard news of our own. We were hoping to find a new place to live since our lease is up in a month. Both of us are starting over in our lives and it’s been an uphill climb to make things work for us financially. Life does not always treat you gently but for the first time together we are so much stronger… But love alone does not always get you through the tough spots. Sometimes it takes a little extra. We have big dreams of someday making our ministry mobile and so we hoped to buy an RV to house us through our adventures. The idea was sound as we live very simple and modest lives. The payments would be so much less than we pay now and we could get out of debt and also be mobile all at once. We have tried all forms of methods to make more money to make this dream a reality but what we do involves volunteering so much of our time and efforts and it’s almost all without outside help. We feel that what we are doing is of paramount importance but where do we draw the line between want and need? Where do we have to make sacrifices to make the right things happen, not only for ourselves but all those we dream of helping?
Well, today we found out that we can’t get the RV we dreamed of, and we can’t afford to stay where we are either. We CAN afford the RV payments, but we just can’t get the qualifying for the loan… yet. Timing is everything, but right now everything seems so out of sync.
Prayers will be said and choices will be made… But a little love and prayers sent our way could really help make our dreams come true. And if anyone wants to help out, Teresa’s Etsy shop proceeds all benefit our efforts.
With much Love, Daniel Lyons
It’s a holiday weekend here and I plan to take a few days off to spend quietly with family and reflect on the gentle pleasures in life. But I will be back early next week with new posts to make you think and help awaken your spirit. This next one won’t be a typical post, but one more in-depth into why this ministry is so important. This is not a typical ministry to make you feel better and to encourage you about your choice of coming to the Lord. There are plenty of other Christian leaders that are great at touching on the good feelings. We are here not to bring your feelings of joy but to help bring you peace by opening the doorway to understanding, and sometimes it’s a little messy from disuse. But it’s time to change. In the days of old prophets came not to tell us we had it all right, but when we had it wrong and needed help in changing. In fact, if a prophet came into the world today he may not even be recognized if he didn’t say things people wanted to hear. We are not here to preach only the good news but the truth that is needed, and God’s prophets are starting to awaken again. This is not about prophecy of future events but about awakening the human spirit that is in tune with its Creator. So the world has slept for far too long. The message has awoken again from its 2000 years of slumber. He has risen again in His Word. Christ has come again in the heart that beats in us all. He is calling. Are you listening? Because He is here! Pray, be open… and be ready. Continue reading A Time to Reflect

Today is National Prayer Day in this country
Earlier I asked 7,519 followers if they had any prayer requests to please post them either through twitter, or through my post online. To which I received only 3 requests. I guess the world must be doing “Just fine” and in little need of some love. :) Continue reading Prayer Request
First of all we must look at Scripture before we begin to have an answer. Continue reading Floyd Cryer’s Righteousness and Sinfulness
The bible says that “we are the righteousness of God”., so if we are in Christ, as his children, followers, obedient then we are of the same mind as Christ. Continue reading Evangeline’s Righteousness and Sinfulness
Continued from “I Begin With Me” from the series starting with “Unmasking the Truth”
These are the foundations that will unlock the Bible in a way you never knew existed.
He made the laver of bronze and its base of bronze, from the bronze mirrors of the serving women who assembled at the door of the tabernacle of meeting.
It is a hard task to face your true reflection and bare your soul naked in the universal mirror of truths and still see the reflection of God staring back at you. It is especially hard when the world is screaming out your name and calling you in a hundred different directions, but to remove the veil that blinds your heart you must first quiet the noise of the world inside you. In the Bible the spirit is represented as water, and in this water we see our true self reflected in the Spirit of God, and all the noise in you disrupts the Spirit’s divine reflection and the image of God is shattered within. To see the face of something is an analogy to understanding the thing it is that you face, and It is only when we are calm and clear headed that we dare look into the face of God reflected back from inside you. To see the face of God is to truly know yourself because you are in harmony with His creation and you can see yourself as God sees you in the reflection of spirit that many call Holy Water. Once you can master your calm in spirit then you can look and see God in the form of an understanding of yourself, and this true reflection will reveal His purpose for your life. To my loyal readers I would like to apologies for taking so long between posts. Life sometimes gives us lemons and to make lemonade it can take a while to squeeze the lemons. I have fallen upon some hard times despite the blessing the Lord has given me. Continue reading To my loyal readers
