The best way to find yourself is to lose yourself in the service of others.

Mahatma Gandhi

Acts 6:2 Then the twelve called the multitude of the disciples unto them, and said, It is not reason that we should leave the word of God, and serve tables.

Service is a wonderful gift, especially of those that feed others. Food is seldom thought of today as being the source of wisdom or knowledge but Biblically speaking, food is the source of understanding. Whenever you read the Bible and you read about a famine or food shortage it represents a lack of understanding. Inversely when an abundance of food in mentioned, say as in a feast, then it’s about true wisdom given abundantly. Life is mimicked through the Bible as many things that all represent a greater understanding, each with its own unique attributes it brings to the table. You often hear about meat to eat and this is the heart of a matter, verses the mother’s milk meant to nourish the faint of understanding yet learning to grow into adulthood in the spirit. As we grow our foods of understanding become longer lasting and we can go farther with less explanation needed, thus Elijah went 40 days on a single meal and Christ could go 40 as well without eating a thing.

So do not let people put you down if you work in the food industry, the truth is you are a teacher offering sustenance not only for the body but a service that feeds the soul.

To keep your marriage brimming, With love in the loving cup, Whenever you’re wrong, admit it; Whenever you’re right, shut up.

Ogden Nash

Oh what a bitter cup we share when we pour our bile into the air. The voice of fools professing to be wise is the venom of vipers hissing their lies.

It is inside that love lives. When your cup is filled with sweetness it pours out into the world. It is not the image of beauty we need but that which flows out from within.

Matthew 23

25 Woe unto you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! for ye make clean the outside of the cup and of the platter, but within they are full of extortion and excess.

26 Thou blind Pharisee, cleanse first that which is within the cup and platter, that the outside of them may be clean also.

THE TREE OF LIFE: The paragraph that will forever change your life

THE TREE OF LIFE: The paragraph that will forever change your life.

Mark4:11 And He said to them,
“To you it has been given to know the mystery of the kingdom of God; but to those who are outside, all things come in parables,

Hidden in the stories is a greater truth written by God.

tree of life

Like a family tree of progenitive truths grows the process of ultimate understanding.

THE TREE OF LIFE:

The Tree of Life is, in fact, the understanding that you grow in life. It grows beside another tree called Judgment. The knowledge of constructing the ideals of right and wrong creates the judgment that kills the soul. The garden paradise is really your innocence. It is the ignorance in which we live, naked and unaware of the shameful things we do (Gen 2:25). We recognize the nature of the animal-self and name them in others (Gen 2:20), but we fail to accept our own blame for the things we do in our ignorance. The name Adam means “man” and he represents the construction of ideas and beliefs called “Truth” and like fruit are consumed (Rev 3:16) and like mortal men then laid to rest when understood. Yet truths are not refined unless they are tested in the fires of enlightenment (IE: Burning Bush, Flaming Sword, Sun of the field, etc.) to find out if they were judged false or true (Psa 96:13). So our ideals thrive in a blissful innocence called ignorance (Paradise). We gather the fruits of our understanding each day and tend to growing more trees of our own understanding (Gen 2:16). Yet knowledge is not enough alone. So from the masculine knowledge comes forth the feminine wisdom . Wisdom is beautiful and desirable and it is our ability to gather truth to the self relationally (Wisdom is self-relational IE: Woman, Self/Ego). So Adam the “extant of thought” joins to Eve the “truth of self” and they become one flesh (Gen 2:24). Flesh in the ancient Hebrew means teachings or good news. So therefore “knowledge” joins to the “wisdom” of the self and brings forth “understanding” like children (Gen 4:1). And the wisdom of the self sees that the knowledge of “good and evil” is desirable to grow beyond ignorance (Gen 3:6). So we partake of the fruit of understanding of what we believe is right and what is wrong only to discover that our blissfulness has ended and the “world” of the soul is a hard place to grow, for we are then aware of our nakedness and shame (Gen 3:7). Because now everything you do is tested by the light of the Sun called “Enlightenment”. (Gen 3:17-19) Therefore, we labor in the Sun with difficulty to bring forth more understanding like a farmer and harvester of truth. In this bringing forth more truth is now more painful than ever before (Gen 3:16). In ignorance, pain is easily forgotten, but to the wise it never is. But pain is our driving force that leads us on to discover a NEW PEACE (Rev 21:2), better than the old paradise to a NEW called JERUSALEM (Which means PEACE: Wholeness of self). In the fullness of your understanding the Tree of Life will blossom and you will eat the fruits of the laborers you have gained in your quest to truly understand and to eschew the judgment you created by constructing the “Knowledge of Good and Evil“.

In the end, the Bible is really the story of you. Amen.

O Holy Spirit, descend plentifully into my heart. Enlighten the dark corners of this neglected dwelling and scatter there Thy cheerful beams.

Saint Augustine

The Master Artist’s work is a veil that masks the wonder. To those that see only stories you continue to miss the intended beauty inside.

Each of the four gospels relates to a different attribute of Christ. They align with the cherubs in Ezekiel and the creatures in heaven in Revelation.

  • Matthew (Lion, King, Mind),
  • Mark (Ox, servant, Heart),
  • Luke (Man, Physician, Body),
  • John (Eagle, Deity, Soul).

Each shows His humanity and His divinity. They are similarly echoed in the 3 gifts of the magi:

  • Gold (King, Mind),
  • Frankincense (Priest, Heart),
  • Myrrh (Physician, Body).

All attributes of Christ’s life are representative of our own quest towards truth and understanding. Unfortunately, so much is lost in the religions we built on top of these foundations that cover over the truth and leave so many soul blind to the gift of understanding that He gave us painted into the lives of His chosen.

Only now are we starting to see the surface of the buried temple of truth…there is so much more IF YOU KEEP DIGGING!

Ask and I can show you how to see a whole other world hidden in the Master’s strokes of the brush of life.

365 Day Photo Challenge Day 65 (NO ROBOTS IN HEAVEN)

What about passion, dedication, loyalty? Can a robot provide those? No! On the other hand, it’s easier to retire a robot when its day is done.

Stanley Bing

We sell our souls off cheaply and then profess our faith to become as robots without brains, only doing as our Master intends and thus we missed the point of salvation.

If you think God simply wants a slave to serve His whims then you do not yet understand why Jesus came in the first place. A slave is NOT FREE! Jesus name means SALVATION. It means FREEDOM NOT SLAVE!

We ARE made in the master’s image but NOT from birth. We only mirror God through a process of enlightenment called TRUTH. Most think that man was made in God’s image from birth because of the 6th Day of the Creation process that says “let us make man in OUR image”, yet man is formed from clay before the trees on the 3rd DAY (Gen 2:4-9). There is much not understood about our faith today because it has gone through a mill that manufactures slaves to a master church rather than students (Disciples) learning of their teachers greater understanding. We know this process as an Apprenticeship where a student joins to a master teacher and follows him around and tends to his needs and thus learns through witnessing the master to become like him. God is making a self-portrait of himself in each of us by shaping our understanding like clay. This is the essence of both of these verses in 1 & 2 Corinthians:

1 Corinthians 13:12 For now we see through a glass, darkly; but then face to face: now I know in part; but then shall I know even as also I am known.

2 Corinthians 3:18 But we all, with open face beholding as in a glass the glory of the Lord, are changed into the same image from glory to glory, even as by the Spirit of the Lord.

As an heir to a kingdom you are being taught to one day be as the KING Himself. Though you are now a servant one day you will be a king and master of your kingdoms of the soul.

Galatians 4:1,7 1 Now I say, That the heir, as long as he is a child, differeth nothing from a servant, though he be lord of all; 7 Wherefore thou art no more a servant, but a son; and if a son, then an heir of God through Christ.

But until that day you are as His servants attending to His needs and following and witnessing His deeds. This is also why we are called Witnesses as though through observation of the Law and Creation we learn His truth hidden in everything.

Look at the word FOLLOWER. It means IMITATOR.

Followers: To mimic, Imitator Transliteration: mimētēs Pronunciation: mē-mā-tā’s (Key) μιμητής

As we walk in our master’s footsteps we gain the understanding the master has. The steps are stages of development and not literal steps. This is also the essence of the DAYS of CREATION itself. They are not literal DAYS but STEPS to mirror God Himself within you. NO this is not to be a deity or god, in any way, but to master your inner-world with judgment like a good king or LORD would. This is why you win so many crowns of victory as you rule the kingdoms of the soul. CHRIST is the “Authority” not only placed upon the man & Son of God. It is the authority placed in you to KNOW the TRUTH that leads you on to victory.

Remember the Hebrews expected a KING to come and liberate the WORLD… and He has come. And He comes to each in their time. He is TRUTH personified and to follow the LIGHT of reason we are then KNOWING CHRIST within, thus He is called Emmanuel meaning GOD WITH US, or in IN US.

Matthew 1:23 Behold, a virgin shall be with child, and shall bring forth a son, and they shall call his name Emmanuel, which being interpreted is, God with us.

Christ is the TRUTH not only in title but symbolically because His whole life from beginning to end was an example of discovering TRUTH in everything. Every step was perfectly executed from healing spiritual blindness and giving clear enlightened perspectives, to helping your lameness of motivation to be about your journey. It ALL has a meaning centered in spiritual GROWTH thus He is TRUTH made flesh.

John 1:14 And the WORD (TRUTH) was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and TRUTH.

We manifest Christ with the process of CREATION. (Deut 33:25) There are SEVEN steps to find the wholeness of peace and be made into the image of GOD. The FINAL DAYS of the earth are the last STEPS to cleanse your INNER-WORLD and mirror God in INNER-LIGHT (Rev 21:23) and have the NEW PEACE called JERUSALEM descend within. We know this in most cultures as called NIRVANA (Total enlightenment).

Deuteronomy 33:25 Your SANDALS shall be iron and bronze; As your DAYS, so shall your strength be.

Revelations 21:23 The city had no need of the sun or of the moon to shine in it, for the glory of God illuminated it. The Lamb is its light.

There are no robots in HEAVEN. God doesn’t need slaves, only Friends to the KING & MASTER/TEACHER (Peers) are admitted to dine with Him (Know truth).

John 15:15 Henceforth I call you not servants; for the servant knoweth not what his lord doeth: but I have called you friends; for all things that I have heard of my Father I have made known unto you.

Revelation 3:20 Behold, I stand at the door, and knock: if any man hear my voice, and open the door, I will come in to him, and will sup with him, and he with me.

John 10:34 Jesus answered them, Is it not written in your law, I said, Ye are gods?

Looking for love is tricky business, like whipping a carousel horse.

George Cukor

All want to ride the wheel of love but few want to pay the price.

Love is not a two way street as some may tell you. Love is a scale that works only when balanced.

Nothing does reason more right, than the coolness of those that offer it: For Truth often suffers more by the heat of its defenders, than from the arguments of its opposers.

William Penn

The “Cooler” you try to seem by defending your faith the more damage you do to the cause. God does not need you to defend Him, after all it’s YOUR BELIEFS that you are defending, not His. He will be the same no matter what you do. You only harm those that need His TRUTH & LOVE the most, including yourself.

Matthew 5:20 For I say unto you, That except your righteousness shall exceed the righteousness of the scribes and Pharisees, ye shall in no case enter into the kingdom of heaven.

Ecclesiastes 7:16 Be not righteous over much; neither make thyself over wise: why shouldest thou destroy thyself?

If there is no struggle, there is no progress.

Frederick Douglass

It is one thing to yoke yourself to the Tree of Life but it is quite another to let it stop your progression.

Becoming a Christian does not stop the opposition you face. In fact it makes it more obvious that choices sometimes have to be made, even if that choice means to do nothing. You choose your battles wisely and most battles are not even your own, and that’s unfortunately a hard lesson to learn that not everything is about yourself. But you cannot do both something and nothing together without tearing yourself apart in the indecisive chaos. A choice must always be made, but without transferring the blame. It’s important to be responsible for your actions, but it’s not important to carry your mistakes around like luggage of shame. Forgiveness is not so much about seeking God’s approval. It’s more about being able to forgive yourself when things don’t work out the way you expected. All things work for the greater good if you let it, even if you can’t see it from your own point of view. So consider SIN as what its definition means, “to err”. And if “to err is human, than forgiveness is divine”. Forgive your mistakes you make in your path to find the truth. Just keep moving and don’t sit still waiting for good things to come to you. In the seeking answers are found. Sitting still only plants you in the ground. Growth vs the Grave? You decide.

There is only you and your camera. The limitations in your photography are in yourself, for what we see is what we are.

Ernst Haas

The eye, like a lens sees all,
Only the mind focuses.

We can see only what we relate to. Because we do not know a thing we assume it doesn’t exist. Too often people have told me that “the Bible holds no mysteries because God doesn’t keep secrets”. To which I can only reply “Oh Really?”

  • Mark 4:11
  • Romans 11:25
  • Romans 16:25
  • 1 Corinthians 2:7
  • 1 Corinthians 15:51
  • Ephesians 1:9
  • Ephesians 3:3,4,9
  • Ephesians 5:32
  • Ephesians 6:19
  • Colossians 1:26&27
  • Colossians 2:2
  • Colossians 4:3
  • 2 Thessalonians 2:7
  • 1 Timothy 3:9&16
  • Revelation 1:20
  • Revelation 10:7
  • Revelation 17:5&7

 Not to mention!

  • Prov 1:1-6 To understand a proverb, and the interpretation; the words of the wise, and their dark sayings (ENIGMAS).
  • Acts8:30&31 And Philip ran thither to him, and heard him read the prophet Esaias, and said, Understandest thou what thou readest?
  • 31 And he said, How can I, except some man should guide me?

Like the eunuch how can you know the MYSTERIES unless you have been taught how to read them? Just because you don’t see a thing doesn’t mean it doesn’t exist. It simply means you don’t know yet how to relate to something new.

I think the British have the distinction above all other nations of being able to put new wine into old bottles without bursting them.

Clement Attlee

Matthew 9:17 Neither do men put new wine into old bottles: else the bottles break, and the wine runneth out, and the bottles perish: but they put new wine into new bottles, and both are preserved.

Few realize it’s the truth that’s bottled both new and old. We do not mix the two or the understanding is spoiled. We know this also as a cup too full can not accept any more. But in the Bible this has the distinction that the old truth and new are beneficial but should not be mixed or all is confused. We learn from our past but we don’t go back there other than to gain the understanding of the things we lived.
