(Breaking Out of Your Shell) Post for Day 201 of my “365 Day Photo Challenge”

Your pain is the breaking of the shell that encloses your understanding.

Khalil Gibran

Breaking Out of Your Shell

The price you pay for a breakthrough is the sadness of letting go of the things that bound you, but in the end your suffering is only the birthing pains of freedom.

2 Corinthians 7:

9 Now I rejoice, not that ye were made sorry, but that ye sorrowed to repentance: for ye were made sorry after a godly manner, that ye might receive damage by us in nothing.

10 For godly sorrow worketh repentance to salvation not to be repented of: but the sorrow of the world worketh death.

11 For behold this selfsame thing, that ye sorrowed after a godly sort, what carefulness it wrought in you, yea, what clearing of yourselves, yea, what indignation, yea, what fear, yea, what vehement desire, yea, what zeal, yea, what revenge! In all things ye have approved yourselves to be clear in this matter.

Look within. Within is the fountain of good, and it will ever bubble up, if thou wilt ever dig.

Marcus Aurelius

Trials teach us what we are; they dig up the soil, and let us see what we are made of.

Charles Spurgeon

Riches are not found on the surface. Deep in you is the greatest truth… Your truth. The center of your being lies below the surface. Beyond the soil of the decay of the soul grows the tree of eternity where the heart of a king reaches for his throne in the sky. Awaken the sleeping giant within you and claim your castle in the clouds. Seek heaven with both hands my friend, but by the name of God man… DIG!

Isaiah 45:3 And I will give thee the treasures of darkness, and hidden riches of secret places, that thou mayest know that I, the LORD, which call thee by thy name, am the God of Israel.

Genesis 6:14 Make thee an ark of gopher wood; rooms shalt thou make in the ark, and shalt pitch it within and without with pitch. (A ship is symbolic for a spiritual journey. So dig up the truth and find what you seek)

DMX

Sometimes you just gotta be thankful and do your happy dance! Oh yeah! …Wiggle wiggle wiggle wiggle wiggle!

Psalms 32:11 Be glad in the LORD, and rejoice, ye righteous: and shout for joy, all ye that are upright in heart.

Chapter 17: The False Light

Light and shadow

Chapter 17: The False Light

All intellect is as riches, and what you find worthy are like stocks in that you pay into it like investing into its future gains. But all things have a price and what you serve with your mind and efforts requires that you pay a tribute known as a sacrifice. This can be paying in money, time, service (works, deeds), attention, obedience, etc. The Seven Days of Creation (Seven Stages of Progression) starts with a perception of value that we all need to learn to overcome. Mankind has a tendency to measure everything by placing a value on it. This appraising perception of worth is amongst the central focuses that we have built our lives upon and it is the primary driving force that leads to pride and misery. The more you value a thing the more it has the power to control you, and once you lose that valuable item the harder it is to recover.

Do you remember early on in our lessons when I told you that “if something isn’t important to you it becomes almost invisible”? Well, this is a perfect example of the measure of perceived value, where you are constantly seeking things that are most worthy of your attention and consequently what causes you to ignore the rest. Often you will see people that seek an ideal, or a person, or a goal to invest all their attentions and hope into, and often this is the makings of an idol that consumes them. Our perception of worth is a secret force that drives mankind to seek validation and to feel important, but all too often it drives them insane with a kind of “gold fever” where the expectations of a profitable return paints illusions of grandeur in your brain.

Gold Fever
noun
1. greed and excitement caused by a gold rush.

It’s like having a strong friend in your gang and backing him all the way like a toady. “What are we gunna do today boss? I got your back”. But all too often in life we invest our trusts into the wrong things and the spoils of our victories are shallow ones that are unsatisfying, where there is no depth to the end result leaving you hungry for more. Bad investments haunt us and make promises they can never deliver upon, but we serve them like ghosts calling out to us to pay them their dues in hopes they will bring us a better return.

The Lies We Tell Ourselves

If only I can honor their memory I can find my happiness.
If only I can get justice or revenge my soul can finally be at rest.
If only I can win this game people will praise me.
If only I can have the perfect body they’ll notice me and love me.
If only I can be the best I can gain the respect I need.

False Returns/Demons/Idols

Strong’s G1142 Demon/Devils
δαίμων: daimōn (dī’-mōn)
Part of Speech: masculine/feminine noun
I. a god, a goddess
A. an inferior deity, whether good or bad
Root Word (Etymology)
From daio (to distribute fortunes)

These idols that promise us rewards are our personal demons that we bare within our soul/mind and they are everywhere in our lives. They possess us and they rule our inner-world like false gods that constantly seek our propitiation with the wealth of resources to appease them. They are the compulsion to serve faulty thoughts and ideals that rule your life, and they are the masters of your personal life right now, and you must learn to remove these false ideals to allow God to build His Temple within you, so that you may see Him clearly reflected within your life.

Matthew 5:8 Blessed are the pure in heart, For they shall see God.

These idols of perceived worthiness can be quite literally anything that you feel will give you the most return for your investment. They seem like great and wonderful ideas and they often manifest themselves into the physical world around you. They vary wildly and they can be manifested into anything such as: compulsions, fetishes, tattoos, bumper stickers, t-shirts, or even posters on your wall, these are all symptoms of the things you invest your attentions into and buy stock into their future gains. The demon idols of false fortunes promise you with secret whispers of joy and happiness that “if only you will serve me you will get what you most desire”, but make no mistake that these demons are 100% you and your desires for more. It is all too easy to shift the blame to supernatural forces, but life has filled your head with thousands of little whispers that are all calling out for you to pay attention to them.

Mark 5

9 Then He asked him, “What is your name?” And he answered, saying, “My name is Legion; for we are many.”

15 Then they came to Jesus, and saw the one who had been demon-possessed and had the legion, sitting and clothed and in his right mind. And they were afraid.

Luke 8:30 Jesus asked him, saying, “What is your name?” And he said, “Legion,” because many demons had entered him.

Remember that your soul is a house made of many truths. Each truth is a manlike ideal that carries a voice. Each voice has no understanding of the other voices and so they all of them call out for your attention. In the computer of your brain you take all these little voices and calculate the best path to take in your decisions. Unfortunately, until you rebuild that house completely with the Universal Truths of God, you are not living in the righteous Temple where He resides, but rather in a house of lies. Your house/soul/mind is possessed by the voices of a thousand faulty ideals all promising you delusions of grandeur and they drive you to make poorly formed decisions.

Revelation 16:14 For they are the spirits of devils (Demons: daio to distribute fortunes), working miracles, which go forth unto the kings of the earth and of the whole world, to gather them to the battle of that great day of God Almighty. (Deceiving your ruling higher ideals and creating the resistance to change)

You are the devils and instigator of your own desires because of all the bad information you have been fed throughout the years. And through these voices inside you, you lead yourself astray by seeking the best return for your investment as per your best (though misguided) mental calculations. This again is the essence of “Sin”. Remember from our earlier lessons that righteousness simply means to be correct, and the definition of sin means to err, so it is bad ideas that cause sin, as it is a miscalculation that leads you astray from correctness. You are the ghost in the machine, and as such you are your own worst enemy because you can make even the most seemingly harmless things into idols by putting too much excess of yourselves into them. What you find worthy you invest yourself into.

Unexpected Idols

Devoting yourself to any cause can quickly become a consuming idol. (The environment, human or animal rights, protests rallies, etc.)
Obsession over a celebrity or sports team can become an idol.
Love and your desires for an ideal mate can all too quickly consume you.
You can actually make your children into idols with obsession and control. (Health, education, etc.)
You can make home-improvement or self-improvement into an idol. (Keeping up with the neighbors, exercise, foods, etc.)
You can even make church, prayer, doctrine and worship into an idol.

ANYTHING can become an idol when you invest too much of yourself into it!

What we value most is what we give most of ourselves over to, and how can you be in control of your life when you give that control away through obsessiveness?

Perspective

Consider then that if you are building God within through a House made of righteous ideals then ask yourself “Who does God worship? Who does He serve? Where do His priorities lie? What common thing does He find to be the most worthy? After all, who has greater value than Him?” Do not be fooled, it is not commonality that we serve but only the higher calling. Be then as the Lord that you are building up within you, and be the master of your inner-world and lay aside vain and prideful things so that you may walk the path of life worthy of His calling and His perfect love. This does not mean to neglect the things that are entrusted to you. It only means to set priorities that will help you balance out your life.

1 Thessalonians 2:12 that you would walk worthy of God who calls you into His own kingdom and glory.

Luke 17:

20 Now when He was asked by the Pharisees when the kingdom of God would come, He answered them and said, “The kingdom of God does not come with observation (Seeing with physical eyes)

21 nor will they say, ‘See here!’ or ‘See there!’ For indeed, the kingdom of God is within you.”

Do not fall victim to the false light by following the demons of faulty promises, for the light of truth is within you and only you have the power to remain in darkness or to reign in the light.

2 Chronicles 6:

1 Then said Solomon, The LORD hath said that he would dwell in the thick darkness.

2 But I have built an house of habitation for thee, and a place for thy dwelling for ever.

2 Samuel 22

12 And he made darkness pavilions round about him, dark waters, and thick clouds of the skies.

29 For thou art my lamp, O LORD: and the LORD will lighten my darkness.

Isaiah 45

3 And I will give thee the treasures of darkness, and hidden riches of secret places, that thou mayest know that I, the LORD, which call thee by thy name, am the God of Israel.

7 I form the light, and create darkness: I make peace, and create evil: I the LORD do all these things.

Matthew 6:23 But if thine eye be evil, thy whole body shall be full of darkness. If therefore the light that is in thee be darkness, how great is that darkness!

Imagine the peace symbol. The peace symbol has three pieces in it. One piece is emotion, that’s your body. Another piece has spirit in it, that’s your fuel. Another piece has intellect in it and that’s your steering wheel. You can never overdo the fuel that goes into the body, which is the emotions and the steering wheel to drive it.

Gary Busey

Comparing Spiritual Trees to a Car

There are 3 important trees in the Bible: The Olive, The Fig and The Grape Vine.

The Olive is the fuel of the spirit that gives light to the headlights to see your way through the darkest of times. (Light of the Spirit: SPIRIT)

The Fig is the driver at the wheel that steers through the paths of life with understanding. (Understanding* Good and Evil: MIND)

The Vine is the body of the vessel that does the works of missions and milestones. (Blood of the Body: BODY)

You may not have chose your body but you love it all the same. You take care of it because you have places to go. So, you kick the tires, check the oil and step on the gas because salvation is not coming to you… Seek and ye shall find. So run baby run!

(*The fig grows two fruits each year: One Sweet harvest, and one Bitter. IE: knowledge of Good and Evil)

Judges 9:

8 The trees went forth on a time to anoint a king over them; and they said unto the olive tree, Reign thou over us.

9 But the olive tree said unto them, Should I leave my fatness, wherewith by me they honour God and man, and go to be promoted over the trees?

10 And the trees said to the fig tree, Come thou, and reign over us.

11 But the fig tree said unto them, Should I forsake my sweetness, and my good fruit, and go to be promoted over the trees?

12 Then said the trees unto the vine, Come thou, and reign over us.

13 And the vine said unto them, Should I leave my wine, which cheereth God and man, and go to be promoted over the trees?

14 Then said all the trees unto the bramble, Come thou, and reign over us.

15 And the bramble said unto the trees, If in truth ye anoint me king over you, then come and put your trust in my shadow: and if not, let fire come out of the bramble, and devour the cedars of Lebanon.

When a noble life has prepared for old age, it is not decline that it reveals, but the first days of immortality.

Madame de Stael

Each day is not measured by the closeness to the grave, but by the closeness to God.

1 Timothy 1:

15 This is a faithful saying, and worthy of all acceptation, that Christ Jesus came into the world to save sinners; of whom I am chief.

16 Howbeit for this cause I obtained mercy, that in me first Jesus Christ might shew forth all longsuffering, for a pattern to them which should hereafter believe on him to life everlasting.

17 Now unto the King eternal, immortal, invisible, the only wise God, be honour and glory for ever and ever. Amen.

(The Tiger In I) Post for Day 194 of my “365 Day Photo Challenge”

Time is the substance from which I am made. Time is a river which carries me along, but I am the river; it is a tiger that devours me, but I am the tiger; it is a fire that consumes me, but I am the fire.

Jorge Luis Borges

The “I” in the Tiger is the Tiger in I

My heart is as a tiger that cannot be tamed, but only conditioned.

Psalms 39:

1 I said, I will take heed to my ways, that I sin not with my tongue: I will keep my mouth with a bridle, while the wicked is before me.

2 I was dumb with silence, I held my peace, even from good; and my sorrow was stirred.

3 My heart was hot within me, while I was musing the fire burned: then spake I with my tongue,

4 LORD, make me to know mine end, and the measure of my days, what it is; that I may know how frail I am.

Chapter 16: The Seven “Days” of Creation

 Globe sun man

Chapter 16: The Seven “Days” of Creation

You have come a long way in you lessons and I am sure many things are starting to change in your understanding of the Bible, and by now you are probably able to start to see how the manual to peace God has laid out for you is starting to take shape. With the right fundamentals in place the entire book will suddenly change from stories and histories to personal truths. And with a little practice you will start to be able to read it on your own, but first there are some more foundations that need to be laid in your spiritual temple to help you create the perfect image of God within you by assembling the full authority of Christ within. So, to create the construct of truth that sets you free from ignorance, it helps to see how the entire Bible is based on seven simple steps that are laid out at the beginning of the Bible called “Days”.

First off…

What is a Day?

The dictionary says a Day is:

  • A period of 24 hours beginning at midnight : one of the seven time periods that make up a week
  • The time of light between one night and the next : the part of the day when light from the sun can be seen
  • The part of the day when people are usually most active and when most businesses are open

Now remember, we are dealing with an internal world of the mind and not about the physical world we see outside our window each day. It is a mirror of truths that we are focusing on here, so even though a spiritual day uses many of these same attributes as a physical one you need to view it from a different perspective.

Job 12:12 With the ancient is wisdom; and in length of days understanding.

Now the Bible experts explain that a “Day” in the Bible (as translated from ancient Hebrew) as being a period of time that is not simply just a physical day. A day can mean a physical day, but it can also mean any amount of set time like a season, or even a year.

DAY: Lexicon: Strong’s H3117
יוֹם yowm (yōm)
I. day, time, year
II. day (as opposed to night)
A. day (24 hour period)
i. as defined by evening and morning in Genesis 1
III. as a division of time
a. a working day, a day’s journey
B. days, lifetime (pl.)
IV. time, period (general)
C. year
D. temporal references
i. today
ii. yesterday
iii. tomorrow
יוֹם yôwm, yome;
from an unused root meaning to be hot;
a day (as the warm hours), whether literal (from sunrise to sunset, or from one sunset to the next), or figurative (a space of time defined by an associated term), (often used adverb):—age, always, chronicals, continually(-ance), daily, ((birth-), each, to) day, (now a, two) days (agone), elder, × end, evening, (for) ever(-lasting, -more), × full, life, as (so) long as (… live), (even) now, old, outlived, perpetually, presently, remaineth, × required, season, × since, space, then, (process of) time, as at other times, in trouble, weather, (as) when, (a, the, within a) while (that), × whole ( age), (full) year(-ly), younger.

Fire

The root of the word DAY means to be HOT. Now, as you may have noticed by now that all of the Bible is teaching us about a testing of resolve that creates refinement in our beliefs. Each manlike idea that builds the Temple of God are tested and refined to see its worth and many of these tests are done with fire, much like the sacrifices of the temple. Remember you are building the Temple of God within you made of perfect truths tested by the light of understanding, and so each day is a stage of developing and testing your ideals for flaws through their actions, reactions, or reasoning. All labors are done during the day in the light of enlightenment, so it is intelligence that is the fire that tests the works of all manlike beliefs.

1 Corinthians 3:
13 Every man’s work shall be made manifest: for the day shall declare it, because it shall be revealed by fire; and the fire shall try every man’s work of what sort it is.

14 If any man’s work abide which he hath built thereupon, he shall receive a reward.

15 If any man’s work shall be burned, he shall suffer loss: but he himself shall be saved; yet so as by fire.

16 Know ye not that ye are the temple of God, and that the Spirit of God dwelleth in you?

17 If any man defile the temple of God, him shall God destroy; for the temple of God is holy, which temple ye are.

Consumed by Fire

If an ideal is found to have value it is then found to be valuable and becomes “Worthy” and “Noble” and thus it become desirable to add to you. If it has no value it is then “Worthless” and cast off into the furnace to be consumed by the fire of knowledge and be known as a false understanding. It’s important to consider that eating something adds to your strength the thing in which you just ate, so in consuming a false idea that has been found worthless simply means you know it for what it is, awful tasting and not able to be swallowed and thus consumed in the fire like rubbish instead. Remember you are playing God here in your mental inner-world, so it is for you to consume the truth of a thing. Today you might say this as you will “Wrap your mind around it” and thus this consuming of truth is like prepping the mental food by cooking it with the fire of intelligence to determine it’s worthy to be eaten and become intimately known.

Consuming Fire

Revelation 3

15 I know thy works, that thou art neither cold nor hot: I would thou wert cold or hot.

16 So then because thou art lukewarm, and neither cold nor hot, I will spue thee out of my mouth.

Matthew 3:10 And now also the axe is laid unto the root of the trees: therefore every tree which bringeth not forth good fruit is hewn down, and cast into the fire.
Matthew 13:42 And shall cast them into a furnace of fire: there shall be wailing and gnashing of teeth.
Hebrews 12:29 For our God is a consuming fire.
Hosea 7:

4 They are all adulterers, as an oven heated by the baker, who ceaseth from raising after he hath kneaded the dough, until it be leavened.

5 In the day of our king the princes have made him sick with bottles of wine; he stretched out his hand with scorners.

6 For they have made ready their heart like an oven, whiles they lie in wait: their baker sleepeth all the night; in the morning it burneth as a flaming fire.

7 They are all hot as an oven, and have devoured their judges; all their kings are fallen: there is none among them that calleth unto me.

8 Ephraim, he hath mixed himself among the people; Ephraim is a cake not turned.

9 Strangers have devoured his strength, and he knoweth it not: yea, gray hairs are here and there upon him, yet he knoweth not.

Now, it is key to remember here that fire is symbolic for the light of enlightenment that tests everything for its value and prudence. Fire is what purifies like cooking so we need to test, or purify the meat (Food of Understanding) that we eat.

There is an old saying that talks about heaping burning coals upon the head to burn away the filth (Coal) of the mind to reveal the diamond soul inside. In other words, it is the light of intelligence that tests and reveals the perfect truth hidden within.
Romans 12:20 Therefore if thine enemy hunger (For understanding), feed him; if he thirst (For truth), give him drink: for in so doing thou shalt heap coals of fire on his head.
Pure truth tested by intelligence.
Luke 3:16 John answered, saying unto them all, I indeed baptize you with water; but one mightier than I cometh, the latchet of whose shoes I am not worthy to unloose: he shall baptize you with the Holy Ghost and with fire (Spirit/Water and Fire)
Anticipation and the testing of mental resolve that brings about the salvation/freedom of the mind
1 Peter 1:

7 That the trial of your faith, being much more precious than of gold that perisheth, though it be tried with fire, might be found unto praise and honour and glory at the appearing of Jesus Christ: (Jesus = Freedom, Christ = Authority: Building the authority of truth that frees)

8 Whom having not seen, ye love; in whom, though now ye see him not, yet believing, ye rejoice with joy unspeakable and full of glory:

9 Receiving the end of your faith, even the salvation of your souls.(Freedom of the mind)

The fire is used a lot in the Bible to show the process of refinement and testing. From a flaming sword to a burning bush, all are aspects of enlightenment that both give light to truth, or to consume it, or to know it as falseness.

Truth is the trials that block the path to paradise. The Cherub is a messenger of truth that blocks your path to blissfulness. Only the tests of Days can restore your peace of mind.
Genesis 3:

24 So he drove out the man; and he placed at the east of the garden of Eden Cherubim, and a flaming sword which turned every way, to keep the way of the tree of life.

Compare this same sword as Truth/Words as fire testing and discerning.
Hebrews 4

12 For the word of God is quick, and powerful, and sharper than any twoedged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart.

Isaiah 66:16 For by fire and by his sword will the LORD plead with all flesh: and the slain of the LORD shall be many.
Psalms 57:4 My soul is among lions: and I lie even among them that are set on fire, even the sons of men, whose teeth are spears and arrows, and their tongue a sharp sword.
Revelation 2:16 Repent; or else I will come unto thee quickly, and will fight against them with the sword of my mouth.
Angels as messengers of the light of truth.
Psalms 104:4 Who maketh his angels spirits; his ministers a flaming fire:
False Truths as fire.
Ephesians 6:16 Above all, taking the shield of faith, wherewith ye shall be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked.
Fire devours.
Hebrews 10:27 But a certain fearful looking for of judgment and fiery indignation, which shall devour the adversaries.
Tested by fire is a common theme.
1 Peter 4:12 Beloved, think it not strange concerning the fiery trial which is to try you, as though some strange thing happened unto you:

The Kingdom of Heaven (A Higher State of Understanding)

It is knowledge that is tested continually to see if an ideal is a worthy truth that can build a house made upon the foundations of understanding.

House Established in Understanding, Wisely built of Riches (Truth)
Proverbs 24

3 Through wisdom is an house builded; and by understanding it is established:

4 And by knowledge shall the chambers be filled with all precious and pleasant riches.

2 Chronicles 2:12 Huram said moreover, Blessed be the LORD God of Israel, that made heaven and earth, who hath given to David the king a wise son, endued with prudence and understanding, that might build an house for the LORD, and an house for his kingdom.

As we build our spiritual abode, or rather the place/center of thought, we must test each idea to see if it fits in with the order of the higher mind. You might also know this state of being as the “Kingdom of Heaven”.

Jeremiah 17:
Testing of ideals to see if they have value and conform.
10 I the LORD search the heart, I try the reins, even to give every man according to his ways, and according to the fruit of his doings.
He who does not attend to his ideals loses them in foolishness.
11 As the partridge sitteth on eggs, and hatcheth them not; so he that getteth riches, and not by right, shall leave them in the midst of his days, and at his end shall be a fool.
A Kingdom built for he who overcomes ignorance
12 A glorious high throne from the beginning is the place of our sanctuary.
The hope to (Israel) Persevere/Progress and establish a kingdom (State of being) in the sky and not on the Earth through living truth
13 O LORD, the hope of Israel, all that forsake thee shall be ashamed, and they that depart from me shall be written in the earth, because they have forsaken the LORD, the fountain of living waters.

The word “Heaven” means “Sky” and so, if you establish a “kingdom” or a “state of being” in the sky you are establishing a “Higher State of Being” or a “Higher State of Understanding”.

Heaven
שָׁמַיִם shâmayim, shaw-mah’-yim; dual of an unused singular שָׁמֶה shâmeh;
From an unused root meaning to be lofty
The sky (as aloft; the dual perhaps alluding to the visible arch in which the clouds move, as well as to the higher ether where the celestial bodies revolve):—air, × astrologer, heaven(-s).

Ask yourself in this next verse, “Why is God setting up a kingdom? Shouldn’t it already be there?” It is because it is being set up for you specifically as well as for each individual seeking higher understanding and to rule the “kings” of all the states of being that dominate your inner-world.

Daniel 2:44 And in the days of these kings shall the God of heaven set up a kingdom, which shall never be destroyed: and the kingdom shall not be left to other people, but it shall break in pieces and consume all these kingdoms, and it shall stand for ever.

The establishment of a higher state of mind has been the goal since “Day One” in the Bible, and each day after brings you closer to building that exact structural image of God’s understanding that you have been trying to create.

John 14:2 In my Father’s house are many mansions: if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you.

The Start of the Temple/House Building Process

Truth (Correct/Righteous Manlike ideals) Rules the Inner-World
26 And God said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness: and let them have dominion over … the earth.
Knowledge (Man) and Wisdom (Woman) build (Son/Child) one greater understanding (Temple/God/Christ)
27 So God created man in his own image, in the image of God created he him; male and female created he them.

Testing Concepts

To rule the world of sorrow we must overcome the tests of reason through a process of laboring to understand. It takes effort to overcome your former self.

Genesis 3:
Wisdom (Woman) must labor to bring forth new CONCEPTS (Conception)
16 Unto the woman he said, I will greatly multiply thy sorrow and thy conception; in sorrow thou shalt bring forth children (Building understanding); and thy desire shall be to thy husband, and he shall rule over thee. (Truth rules self)
Consuming/Creating Judgment spoils your joy and so efforts must be made to rebuild your foundations through a line of truths that will create a better and higher state of understanding (Earth = Sorrow; Sky = Joy: IE: Kingdom of Heaven)
17 And unto Adam he said, Because thou hast hearkened unto the voice of thy wife, and hast eaten of the tree, of which I commanded thee, saying, Thou shalt not eat of it: cursed is the ground for thy sake; in sorrow shalt thou eat of it all the days of thy life;

So a Day is then a period of time in which ideals labor to build higher understanding. The constant fire that continually rules over each day (period of development) and tests the resolve of ideals through enlightenment is the Sun of the inner-world. The Sun is the light that rules the inner-world and is that with which we labor to understand.

The Mirror of the Heavens/Universal Mirror of Truth

Sun, Moon & Stars

Job 37:18 Hast thou with him spread out the sky, which is strong, and as a molten looking glass?

The mirror of the universe/order is in the sky, but this is not a real mirror as when we look up in the real world we don’t see the Earth reflecting back at us, this is a symbolic mirror showing us our true and ideal self as seen reflected in the heavenly (Higher) ideals. Each celestial body represents an attribute of truth, primarily that of the heavenly family of the: Sun, Moon and Stars.

The Celestial Family

  • Father/Man = Sun = Knowledge
  • Mother/Woman = Moon = Wisdom
  • Son/Child = Stars = Builders of Understanding
Genesis 37:
9 And he dreamed yet another dream, and told it his brethren, and said, Behold, I have dreamed a dream more; and, behold, the sun (Father) and the moon (Mother) and the eleven stars (Sons/Build) made obeisance to me.
10 And he told it to his father (knowledge), and to his brethren: and his father rebuked him, and said unto him, What is this dream that thou hast dreamed? Shall I (Father/Knowledge) and thy mother (Wisdom) and thy brethren (Builders of Understanding) indeed come to bow down ourselves to thee to the earth?

Notice how Joseph’s father already knows that man, woman and children are compared to celestial bodies? This is a running theme throughout the Bible where the stages of truth are tested by the light of the sun, and if a man is knowledge, then truth is the testing of the inner-world’s resolve and the head of the celestial family would then be a masculine attribute called “FATHER”.

Matthew 5:
Enlightenment of the Soul/House
15 Neither do men light a candle, and put it under a bushel, but on a candlestick; and it giveth light unto all that are in the house.
Righteous/Correct ideals tested and refined until they become UNIVERSAL TRUTHS
16 Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father which is in heaven.

In fact even Christ called Himself a star as He is the SON (Builder) of God (Higher understanding).

Revelation 22:16 I Jesus (Salvation/Freedom) have sent mine angel (Message) to testify unto you these things in the churches (Calling). I am the root (Father: Foundation) and the offspring (Son: Builder) of David (Love), and the bright (Enlightenment) and morning star (Dawning of Truth).

In fact, angels are often compared to stars also, after all, how many stars do you know that can walk and stand directly over a single child?

Matthew 2:9 When they had heard the king, they departed; and, lo, the star, which they saw in the east, went before them, till it came and stood over where the young child was.

Think about it, a star is too far away to determine a single location. The moon is much closer yet what house is it over? Likewise a shooting star falls to quickly to follow and a comet (farther away than the moon) is too far away and doesn’t stop. All that is left is a messenger (Angel: a son of God)

In Reflection: Psalm 19: Building Truth through Heavenly Reflection

Psalms 19:
You see higher understanding reflected in the Universal Mirror of Truth
1 The heavens declare the glory of God; and the firmament sheweth his handywork.
Words of Truth are developed by the labors of the steps of Day, and reflections of truth are seen by night in the stars.
2 Day unto day uttereth speech, and night unto night sheweth knowledge.
Truth is universal
3 There is no speech nor language, where their voice is not heard.
Truth builds a house of Higher Ideals (IE: Temple of God/Father’s House/Kingdom of Heaven)
4 Their line is gone out through all the earth, and their words to the end of the world. In them hath he set a tabernacle for the sun,
Progression, Endurance and Free Thought
5 Which is as a bridegroom coming out of his chamber, and rejoiceth as a strong man to run a race.
All things are enlightened and tested
6 His going forth is from the end of the heaven, and his circuit unto the ends of it: and there is nothing hid from the heat thereof.
Enlightenment/Truth overcomes ignorance.
7 The law of the LORD is perfect, converting the soul: the testimony of the LORD is sure, making wise the simple.
Pure Truth brings forth clear perceptions
8 The statutes of the LORD are right, rejoicing the heart: the commandment of the LORD is pure, enlightening the eyes.
Respecting the higher Universal Truth is a pure and Lasting Truth that gives good judgement.
9 The fear of the LORD is clean, enduring for ever: the judgments of the LORD are true and righteous altogether.

The “STEPS” Called “DAYS”

So what then are “Days”? They are the steps and stages of your developmental progression.

Your shoes shall be as days.
Deuteronomy 33:25 Thy shoes shall be iron and brass; and as thy days, so shall thy strength be.
