Thank The Lord: Guess What I Just Got!

Guess What I Just Got!

For those of you that follow my blog, you know that I have been going through some really hard times and trying to get back up on my feet again after my injury and wrongful incarceration. Well, I am making steps towards getting back into my old profession of graphics and 3D art work. Well…. Here is my first step in the right direction. I lost everything including all my 22 years of portfolio of artwork and all the supporting tools and images that go along with them. I had to scrape together every penny by taking horrible paying odd jobs that were far below my skill set, because no one would hire me as an “ex-con” no matter how nice or skilled I may be. But I’m baaack! It took months and all the money I made to purchase this camera and a new computer with some “Umph” to do my art! These are a few of the photos I took around the house this weekend with my new Nikon! What do you think? The computer should also be here some time this week! Now it is a race against the clock to purchase the $5000 dollars of software I need to do my artwork before the free 30 day trial period runs out on the software!

Now who needs some graphics work done???

A special thank you to all of you who donated along the way! You make all the difference with this mission and ministry. May God bless you and keep you always :)

  1. So sorry to hear about the wrongful incarceration and injury! I prayed that God would bless all you do and bring good out of evil.

Those are great photographs! We just bought that exact camera and love it. The 42x zoom is amazing. Some bald eagles just moved into our neighborhood and the zoom has been perfect for getting some nice shots of them.

  2. This is NOT amazing to me, I have known since day one He’s had a fabulous plan for you and your life, He just had lessons you needed to learn first. YEEHAH I am thrilled for you! Contact Jen @ positivepactmagazine.com and tell her Marty sent you!!!!! Blessings with love always, M.

  3. Wow, your photography is stunning. Really beautiful. Congratulations on tapping into that beauty after all you’ve been through. I wonder if Etsy might be an inexpensive way to start selling your artwork? It’s .20 to list an item for 3 months. I won’t say I got rich selling on there, but when I’ve entered craft shows, I’ve been able to send folks a link to — well what amounts to a portfolio I guess. I wish you the very best of luck. Do carry on.

  4. Good for you, keep believing and praying and seeking direction from God and all your dreams will come true! Congratulations on your new camera! In my favorite color. Good luck and God bless!

  5. Congrats!!! Your testimony provides encouragement. I, too, am being challenged through long-term job loss. It’s always encouraging to hear about enduring faith and blessings!

    Thank you!!!

  6. Beautiful pictures!! I’m glad that with faith you are able to once again do the work you love – something you obviously have a talent for. I know our Lord guides us in different ways and is always there for us. We just need to look to Him.

  7. Congratulations! The sacrifices that you have made will go a long way! The pics look great (I must admit I’m a little jealous ;) )! I’m sure your efforts to raise the money for the software will not go “un-blessed”. My continued prayers will be sent your way!

  8. Congratulations… I can see that you are going to go far. Stand firm on Gods word for he is willing and able!

  9. Your photographs are amazing. Glory! I love them so much. I celebrate with you! I’ve been praying for God to raise you up and really use you!!! So glad to see you’re on your way!

I am trying to create a website but am not so good. I really applaud your talent. Godspeed!

  10. So happy to see this coming about. Those pictures are fantastic, you can almost see the leaves growing as you look at this picture. The spines on that cactus are really interesting too! Did you see the little egg on it? Life in all it’s many forms. Congratulations, now I’m looking forward to seeing much more of your talents being put to use…….Just the start of another something BIG. Way to go Daniel, high fives and much more. Blessings are surely coming your way.

    1. I see you everytime you click like on my posts. You have been a regular follower and your support always inspires me Eric. We are all in the same boat, stuck and in a lost world. But we have common ground. We believe… and we act on our beliefs and not only in words alone. And this the Lord loves and in Jesus name you and I are brothers. Keep staying focused and strong… because you inspire me as I inspire you.

      God bless :)

    1. Thanks! I use 3D Studio Max mostly for 3D. I can use Maya but I am far better at Max. I also use Photoshop and Afterfx. And for details I use Z-Brush. Those are the major ones.

  11. Daniel. I enjoyed your post. May I invite you to read my post which focuses on the poweer of being fully engaged. It’s patterned after the ancient Aztec word – Ollin. Let me know your thoughts.

    1. Well put and I hope your book does in fact make an impact! We all need to be as you said “Ollin” and be all in… or jus stay home. I know I am 1000% in on this and my mission for God. I feel like I am rolling a boulder up a hill at times, but I hope some day to clear that summit and watch it take on it’s own speed and course. But for now it is all still struggling! So I raise my cup to all those that struggle and endure. And I raise my voice in chorus to all those that believe and never surrender.

      Joshua 6:20
…and the people shouted with a great shout, that the wall fell down flat.

Let’s all be a little more “Ollin” and break down the walls of Jericho together!

PS. By the way, we both live in Arizona :)

      1. Know this. To attain “the key” (your inheritance) which has been fashioned for you from the beginning of all beginnings, the universe will test you to see what your limits are before you give up. The resolute don’t quit.
