The Rapture… HOW TO READ THE BIBLE! … Please share this

I wrote this post a few years ago and have since discovered more clarity into the deeper meanings of the scriptures. I absolutely love my readings now that I can see the voice of God speak directly to me through His hidden word and I am sure you will too. So if you like this post there is actually quite a bit more in the series called “Unraveling the Great Mystery” that I plan to turn into a video series once we get a few donations to cover the modest costs… till then please enjoy the reads and please share. If you don’t share the mystery dies here. God bless.

PS, please spend some time learning this. I promise you it will change the world as you know it!

Unraveling the Great Mystery

Original post: 2012/04/21

It means: Extreme joy and a mystical experience in which the spirit is exalted to a knowledge of divine things. (Look it up!)

This is a time of joy so rejoice and learn something new and awaken your inner Christian heart and mind. Stop playing dead, stop sleeping in the Lord’s Word. It’s time to learn the truth in all things.

This lesson is NOT written to refute any of the teachings of your church or synagogue. Much of the Bible is written with two truths. It is like looking into a mirror (1 Cor 13:12). One side is solid, and the other is an impression (Pro 27:19). There is the lesson learned by others in the physical stories, and then there is a lesson that applies to your heart as a spiritual individual (James 1:23). Things “on Earth as it is in Heaven” (Mat 6:10), mirroring each other. Things invisible (celestial/spiritual) and things visible (terrestrial/physical) (1 Cor 15:40; 2 Cor 3:18; Rom 1:20; Col 1:16) This lesson is NOT based on the physical surface level of the stories, but solely based on the language of the Spirit, and how the Scriptures apply to you, as an individual, on the level of the soul. It is how the Holy Spirit talks to your spirit of understanding.

There is a kind of duality in many of the words of the Bible. In fact most of the Bible works with this duality in all that it says. There is a physical truth, and then there is a spiritual truth that mirrors it. Here, look at this example of these popular names of people and places in the Bible and see what I mean in the sign language of the soul:

In the original Hebrew, The name for the city of Jerusalem means: The teaching of peace
It also means: Peace.
Jerusalem is also known as the city of Solomon.

Now the name Solomon also means: PEACE.

Now as most modern Christians, you may not know, that the goal of our lives is to find Peace within ourselves. It is actually the biggest theme in the Bible. Finding our spiritual peace is what it is all about. Remember Cain and his punishment (Genesis 4:12-13)? His punishment was to be a restless wanderer so that he would never find the peace his heart desired. Even the city he formed in verse 16 was called Nod.
The Hebrew meaning for Nod is “wandering” (As in a “restless fugitive”).
But the name Able means: breath, or pasture, which symbolizes “peace” just like in David’s famous Psalm 23.

So if Jerusalem means “Peace”, then the “New Jerusalem” that is “the bride” (Revelation 21:2) that comes down from Heaven, has to then mean: the “New Peace!”

Now, this is where it gets interesting. The way to Jerusalem, is through the city of David.

David’s name means: Beloved. Or simply we know it as LOVE.

So that means that “Love is the way to Peace”. Get it?
The city of David leads to the city of Jerusalem. So Love leads to Peace.

Okay, now it gets even better.
You have heard it said that “Jesus is the way“. Well, He is! Because the way to Peace (Jerusalem) is through the gates of salvation or rather, the way to peace is through the freedom of the Spirit. This truth is hidden in the name of our savior, Jesus.

Now the name Jesus, was not how His name was originally pronounced. He was actually called Iesous in the original Greek text. Don’t worry, Jesus still works fine. He knows who you mean when you say Jesus.

Now the name Iesous means: “Jehovah is salvation”
Which is the same as Joshua or Jehoshua in Hebrew.

In fact you will still hear many people call Him Joshua. It is the exact meaning in each of the names, so please don’t stress too much about His name.

The root of this name means: to be delivered, or freed by God

But the simplest way of understanding His name is “Freedom“, because He symbolizes freedom from spiritual oppression. So when you think of Jesus, think “Freedom“. Because technically that is his name! No matter how you look at it, Savior or Salvation equals Freedom from our old ways.

Okay, now let’s take the names and places and put them together and see what the Spirit is telling us: The Way to Peace is Love, and Freedom from the world is the key…
Thank you Jesus for opening the Way :)

Now the way I am trying to explain how to read the Bible takes more work than you might be used to, but once you know what is being said, you will find that there is a richness and deepness that goes so deep and is so beautiful, and I guarantee that you will love it all the more for understanding it better. But first you must know that there is a language within the language. There are words within the Word, that mean more than one thing.

The Bible starts with the five books of Moses, that we know as the “The law” or the Torah, or Pentateuch. All of this dual meanings in Scriptures, starts with him. Why? Well maybe it was because Moses was raised as an Egyptian for 40 years of his life (Exodus 2:5). And as we all know Egyptians wrote in a written language of symbols. The Hieroglyphs of the Egyptians were pictures used in place of letters, and the pictures held meaning to them. They would write with pictures of birds and reptiles, and such, and this would be saying more than “Hey, there’s a bird and reptile… and such!”. They would actually make a type of written language, because images hold meaning to our mind’s eye. The creation of this style of writing is not unique to the Egyptians (3200 BC) alone. It is also seen in the original written characters of the Chinese (1300 BC) called logogram. We see truth in objects as symbols, because to our mind’s eye they are more than just objects. Like, if I showed you a picture of a sweater, you might think comfort and warmth… or you might think itchy wool. Okay, bad example.

The thing is, that the Bible is a lot like a Chinese puzzle-box, in that if you do not speak the language of the true disciples, you will never know the keys to unlocking it. And the more you unlock, the more you will discover that there is still yet more to unlock, within yourself. So it helps to speak the symbolic sign-language of the words, in the Word, or it will forever remain locked to you.

Remember, the crowd sitting around listening to Jesus, that was “always seeing but never perceiving. Always hearing but never understanding“. Well, Jesus only talked to the crowd in parables, but he fully explained them to His disciples. Do you want to be just one of the crowd, or would you rather be a good disciple of Jesus, and try to understand the full message that He is trying to teach you?

Mark 4:13 And He said to them, “Do you not understand this parable? How then will you understand all the parables?

Acts 8:30 So Philip ran to him, and heard him reading the prophet Isaiah, and said, “Do you understand what you are reading?” 31 And he said, “How can I, unless someone guides me?” And he asked Philip to come up and sit with him.

Mark 4:10 But when He was alone, those around Him with the twelve asked Him about the parable.11 And He said to them, “To you it has been given to know the mystery of the kingdom of God; but to those who are outside, all things come in parables

Did you know that the Bible is actually all about you. Yes, there are stories about other people and places in it, but on a spiritual level, it is all about you as individual. You are the spiritual puzzle-box that needs to be opened, and by opening this jack-in-the-box-of-you, you will learn how to heal your troubled spirit. And when you become more healthy, you will also learn to help others. And no, helping yourself is not selfish “if” helping others is the overall goal.

So it all starts with you:

  • You (Insert name here), are a child of God.
  • You (Insert name again), are meant to become like God your Father, and reflect His glory.
  • But how does God, your Father, teach a child named (Same name, don’t go changing it now, wise guy) to be like their parent?

I will tell you how, He leaves clues in all of His creation to follow.

Romans 1:20 For since the creation of the world His invisible attributes are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even His eternal power and Godhead, so that they are without excuse

So, how do we begin to see things like GOD? With yourself of course! Did you know, that in your life you learned everything from your 5 senses? EVERYTHING you know came from one, or a combination of all of those 5 senses. At some point, everything that you know; you saw it, felt it, tasted it, smelt it, or heard it somewhere during your lifetime. Your whole life, till this very point, has all been made this very way. This means, that you are an amalgam of all the world around you. You are made up of every feeling, sound, and sight, of every person that you have ever meet. And every experience that you have shared with them, has helped shape you into that unique person that you see in the mirror each day. You are made 100% of the world around you.

So by that logic, you are made of everything you have sensed and everyone you have ever met… And your body is made of all the things that came from the Earth, including the things, that ate the things, that grew from the earth. So basically, you are made entirely of the world around you.

Think about that idea for a second. You see the world with YOUR eyes. Listen to the world with YOUR ears. Smell the world with YOUR nose. Feel the world with YOUR nerves. And taste the world with YOUR tongue. But, for all you know, there isn’t anything in the world outside those senses? Can those 5 simple senses be lying to you? Is what they are telling you even real? You are made of the world around you, and so, your thoughts are made up of a combination of each sensation you have experienced, but are those senses all just in your head? Or is your head just imagined too?

Understand that you are a reflection of the world around you, and the world is also a reflection of you. In the truest understanding there is no way to know that ANYTHING exist beyond yourself. And because of this, how can you know that all things are not just an extension of you? This philosophy and understanding is called “solipsism” (That is a link in case you care to check it out).

We are all connected more than you might know. Because you are made up of the experiences and thoughts of others.  You reflect them in yourself, but you are also reflected in them as well! So as much as they are in you, you are in them too! But, here is the twist. In God’s perfect mirror of truth, you actually reflect back God and His glory, because you are a Christian. This is because Jesus is reflected in you, and in all that you do. So, let His glory reflect in you! Let it shine like a thousand suns, in everything you do. Let your life have meaning and have conviction in your soul. Be trustworthy and always do the best can, with what you have. Have peace in your spirit and don’t be filled with wrath, and condemnation towards others and their beliefs, simply because they don’t believe as you do. On many levels, your life reflects in them and others see how bright our loving God is reflected in your life. And then, without a doubt, He will begin to reflect in their lives as well, just by them knowing you. Trust me, this whole thing is very contagious! Remember, we are to love the world as ourselves. Why? Because the world and others are reflections of ourselves!

Luke 10:27 So he answered and said, “‘You shall love the LORD your God with all your heart, with all your soul, with all your strength, and with all your mind,’ and ‘your neighbor as yourself.’ “

Mark 12:31 And the second, like it, is this: ‘You shall love your neighbor as yourself.’ There is no other commandment greater than these.”

Galatians 4:7 Therefore you are no longer a slave but a son, and if a son, then an heir of God through Christ.

We are all one in the eyes of the Lord. So in this understanding, that we are all the sons of God, then we should know how to be as our Father. Jesus is called Lord for a reason, and part of that reason is that He is the master of our lives. He is the King of all kings, so therefore He rules the world. Now if Jesus is our example here on Earth of how to be like God, them maybe we too need to rule our world. This means you need to rule yourself, and to rule yourself you need to rule all the attribute of your world. Because the biggest secret in all of scriptures is (Drumroll please!):

THE WORLD IS YOU!… It’s all you man! You got this.

That’s crazy, right? Well, it is not as crazy as you might think!

On the level of the soul, you are the world, and all the world is you. This is NOT meant to be literal, but only figuratively and spiritually. All the things on this planet are representative of all the things of you, or was that vise versa?. By the Bibles spiritual duality, all things are attributes of yourself. That is because all things in this life are a clue to a greater truth, and everyone in the world is your teacher. So we need to hear the lessons that need to be learned, by the world around us, to unlock the world within us.

How do you learn from the world in Scriptures? Let’s look at a few of the things that make-up the world around you, and see how they apply to you.

  • Heavens,Sea & Earth
  • Locations and cities
  • People, gender, body parts, action, food, etc
  • Plants
  • Animals
  • Etc.

All these things spiritually have a significance that apples to you on a spiritual level. Let’s go ahead and start from with the cities of the world.

Let me ask you a question. Now, if I asked you “What do you think about when I mention the people of Paris, France? Do you get a mental picture? Now if you had to give just one word to describe them, what word would that be?

Let’s try that again with the people of a few more locations:

  • Now think about the people of Mexico City, Mexico.
  • Now think about the people in New York, USA.
  • Now New Delhi, India.”

Do you have a mental picture of how you see the people of each City? If you had only one word to describe each city, what word would that be? Well, this is kind of how it works.

The world is FULL of locations like; cities, towns, camps and other places where people congregate. So to understand the world-of-you, in the Bible, we must first look at the cities (Towns, camps, forts, etc.) in Scriptures.

Every city on the planet has a name dedicated to its purpose. Like the city of Philadelphia, for example. The name of the city has a meaning.

You probably already know this one. It means: The city of brotherly love.

That means that as a whole, the people who live there, would be dedicated to that one main purpose. To love each other as brothers. This is the single most important aspect and purpose of this one city. It’s not about anything else (Spiritually speaking).

The names of places in the Bible are PARAMOUNT. Unfortunately this is also the least looked at or taught today in our Christian faith.

Let’s look at this a little deeper, shall we? Here is a small example:
The Jews were once captive in Babylon for 14 generations (Matthew 1:17).

Now the name Babylon means: Confusion (by means of mixing)

Again, this is not just about the city and it’s captive. This is about you. You have been held captive in confusion for much of your life. But now, through Jesus (Freedom) you are set free. Get it? Got it? Good, let’s move on.

Let’s throw a little Babylon in here and mix it up a bit (j/k)

Moses, this is that awesome guy that started it all. His name means: Drawn out from
Ironically, his name mirrors the act of being drawn from the water, like he was when he was a baby in an ark. (Yes it was an ark. I can almost hear your Bibles opening in a frantic search for this passage. Here is the passage (Exodus 2:3;5)). Anyways, water always represents the spirit of truth. So, his name can mean: Drawn out from the truth
(not drawn away from, but rather to be brought about by, or emerging from)

We follow the teachings of Moses, that were drawn out from the truth of the Spirit, because Moses freed the Jews from their captivity in Egypt.

Egypt Means: To be besieged
It represents a spiritual bondage to the things of the physical world.

So again, remember, this is all about you, and you are the one being, Drawn out by the truth of the Spirit, and being lead out of spiritual and mental bondage of the things of the physical world.
And like the Jews of the time, you are also being led through the wilderness and through the desert of Sin (Yes, this Sin ironically represents the sin of the flesh, because, Sin means: thorn, and a thorn is the pain of the physical flesh, so it is also the enemy of the spiritual body as well, and therefore also known as: sin.

The word “Wilderness” used in the scriptures is:
“midbar” מִדְבָּר
In Hebrew, the root of the word means: To be driven (by the word of the mouth).

So, that means that; We are drawn away from the captivity of confusion of the physical world, by the spirit of truth, and we are called and driven through the pains of sin

Now where was Moses leading the Jews?

Moses (Drawn out) left Egypt (Captivity) and went East (The way of enlightenment)

East is the direction of the beginning of enlightenment; to arise to the dawning of the sun, or the dawning of “the light“. So it means: The way of Enlightenment

Remember before, when I said Jerusalem means; the teachings of peace and Solomon also means; peace? Well that is where Moses was leading the Jews; to Jerusalem (Peace) the city of Solomon (Peace).

Now, let’s take it all and put it together and see the analogy the Bible is juxtaposing into our lives.

So, if I said:
Moses, left Egypt and went east through the wilderness and the desert of Sin, to Jerusalem.

I would spiritually be saying about you:
You are drawn away, by the spirit of truth, from the captivity of the physical world to enlightenment, and driven by the pain of sin, to the teachings of peace.

Or, you could simply say something like:
Suffering teaches us to seek peace.

How crazy was that?!! You see, this has all really been about you from the beginning. Leave captivity behind you. Stop being a prisoner to the spiritual and mental false truths the world taught you. Go east in your spirit and find enlightenment, and be driven to that enlightenment that comes about only by the pains of sin in your life. Have an awareness in your life and seek the ways of truth, and find your inner state of peace. Peace is your goal. Peace of mind and peace of spirit. This is what it has all been about; you finding truth and peace by first being a slave to confusion.

CITIES: Beyond the name

All of the locations like cities (towns, camps, forts, etc.) in the Bible are symbolic of a state of being. They represent a state of the mind and emotion. Spiritually speaking, what state are you in at this moment?

That state of being may be represented with a name of an actual place in the Bible. This is why the Jews were commanded to conquer certain cities and rule them. Because when you rule a city it is under your control. But it was not just the physical city they had to rule, but also an inner state of being. remember, this is God using life, and real events to talk to us, not only to the Jews of the time, but also to all of us that read the Bible today.

I am not sure about you, but my mind is floored by this awesome ability of our Creator to use the real-world events that happened, and to also use the authors that He chose to chronicle them, for giving us a message for all generations to come! What an amazing and awesome God we have!

This act of using life to teach us a lesson is also in part why the “Old Testament God” is so much more strict and heavy handed. He needed to teach us all a lesson by using the life of our forefathers. This was all very necessary and also a way of having people begin to see how He works, and the reasons we should and should not do certain things. His truth is written on all of creation. So we need to see life, to see truth.

You are the world and the world is full of locations. But these locations are states of your spirit. You need to learn to rule these states of being. You need to rule your mind and spirit in just the same manner. Rule your emotions. Once you rule it you will be master over it, or rather the king of that domain of existence. Each state you rule, the greater conqueror you will become in your spiritual world. You can become like Alexander the Great of all your known spiritual world… But wait! Isn’t Jesus known as the KING OF ALL KINGS?

Remember at the beginning of this lesson and we saw how Jesus’ name means “Freedom“? So let’s try to exchange the name Jesus for savior, or better yet “Freedom” (when you are dealing with your spiritual self) as His name suggests in meaning. So instead of Jesus being the ruler of just the physical world, He is also the ruler of your spiritual world as well. What I mean is, that you need to let salvation and freedom rule your emotions and thoughts. Let Jesus rule within you, or rather let “Freedom” rule ALL your states of being. Let freedom rule in all that you do. Become free in the Spirit, liberated from the things of the physical world that used to keep you prisoner with its desires. And one day, the physical Jesus will also return in the flesh and mirror this truth in reality!

Matthew 10:23 When they persecute you in this city, flee to another…

Some cities are hard to rule so, God tells us to flee from these cities, or to bar the doors to block the way to them.

SAMSON: Using Your Strengths

Judges 16:3 And Samson lay low till midnight; then he arose at midnight, took hold of the doors of the gate of the city (Gaza) and the two gateposts, pulled them up, bar and all, put them on his shoulders, and carried them to the top of the hill that faces Hebron.

Samson’s name means: Like the sun, or rising sun (Brilliant)
Also the sun is god like in its attributes and is often used as an analogy for God or Jesus.

The city Gaza means: Mighty, strong, fierce

means: association, or united fellowship

When Samson left Gaza he took the passage way and changed it to another direction. He took might and used it as a way to create a way to unity and fellowship, rather than domination.

So we too are meant to be bright enough to see how we can take our strengths and have them lead to friendship.

JERICHO: Opening Your Heart

A wall around a city, is a way of containing or protecting a domain, or location, or on the spiritual level a state of being. Some cities in the Bible are not to have any walls around them at all. So we are told to tear down the these walls completely like as in the case of the city of Jericho.

Joshua 6:26 And Joshua adjured them at that time, saying, Cursed be the man before the LORD, that riseth up and buildeth this city Jericho: he shall lay the foundation thereof in his firstborn, and in his youngest son shall he set up the gates of it.

Jericho means: “its moon” or the The city of the moon.
The moon is representative of a woman (Genesis 37:9-10) and women represent a wisdom of the heart. []

This city is the heart of your understanding. It represents your wisdom and compassion. It is important that this part of our life, is always left open. We are not to build walls around our heart or to confine our love for others. Be open and understanding. Just because someone doesn’t see or understand as you do, it does not make them bad. It just means that they don’t understand like you do. So we are not to establish or rebuild a state of a closed heart just as the harlot city of Jericho that we had once built within ourselves. Don’t be led astray, and become closed off to change and growth.

We are also meant to build this foundation and lay it in the hearts of our children… Have an open heart and be understanding, and share.

The Bible used to give certain cites as a place of refuge. Certain crimes allowed you to flee to a city of refuge and find safety there. Here is a small sample of some of these cities

Not only is the name of the city important but it is also important to see where it is located as well. Then you find the meaning it holds for you in your life.

Hebron means: association, or United Fellowship

You find refuge in friendship.

Shechem is an area on you back or shoulder. So it represents a: Burden
But the root word refers to: rising up early
Which is used in reference to: Work earnestly and urgently (Jer 7:13)

You find refuge in honest hard work.

Shechem is in the mountains of Ephraim

Ephraim means: Double fruitful from the ash heap.
It is like being the fiery phoenix and rising from the ash heap of ruins.

This means to:
Be reborn and arise up from the ruins of your old life. And put behind you your old ways so you can be blessed and prosper.

Now let’s mix:
Shechem + Ephraim = To rise up from your burdens and be useful and prosper.

So, leave your old ways behind you and take comfort in knowing that you will prosper in your new life of service.

You find refuge and reward in hard and honest work.

How cool is all this? Okay, now let’s take Golan from the region of Bashan and see what we get.

Golan means: Rejoice in removal of captivity (The Joy of Freedom)

It also helps to remember where a city is located. Golan is in the region of Bashan

Bashan means simple: Fruitful (Blessed and useful)

So now we mix the two and get:
Golan + Bashan = To be blessed and prosperous in your removal from captivity
or: Rejoice in freedom

Not only is it telling you that you are blessed now that you are no longer a slave to the world, but to also be fruitful yourself. You are free now, also go find your joy in doing good things.

You find refuge in the joys of freedom

GOD & gods

Psalms 82:1 God stands in the congregation of the mighty; He judges among the gods.

Psalms 82:6 I said, “You are gods, And all of you are children of the Most High.

These “gods” mentioned above are not the false gods of idols. It is referring to those that overcome the world. Once you learn to master your spiritual world you will be a god (an heir) like your Father who you are to imitate and reflect in heaven. THIS DOES NOT MEAN YOU WILL BE THEE GOD. NOT A REAL GOD. NOR EVEN A DEMIGOD. It is only figurative and it just means that you will rule your spiritual world. Rule all your states of being, and rule all of your faculties, and let freedom (Jesus) be the King of all the kings of those cities that rule within you.

Being a god (Like God) you rule a world. You are the world that you must rule.

Hebrews 1:2 Hath in these last days spoken unto us by his Son, whom he hath appointed heir of all things, by whom also he made the worlds;

Hebrews 11:3 Through faith we understand that the worlds were framed by the word of God, so that things which are seen were not made of things which do appear.

This is why the word “Worlds” is used.
The word Worlds can mean: forever, a stage or time period of mankind, or an actual world

Each of us is the “god” of our own “world”. It means that though God rules us, we too need to find balance and control over ourself and our impulses. We need to learn how to rule ourselves in all aspects of our lives, thus making us whole and complete like God.

Genesis 1:26 And God said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness: and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over the cattle, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth.

27    So God created man in his own image, in the image of God created he him; male and female created he them.

28    And God blessed them, and God said unto them, Be fruitful, and multiply, and replenish the earth, and subdue it: and have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over every living thing that moveth upon the earth.

29    And God said, Behold, I have given you every herb bearing seed, which is upon the face of all the earth, and every tree, in the which is the fruit of a tree yielding seed; to you it shall be for meat.

30    And to every beast of the earth, and to every fowl of the air, and to every thing that creepeth upon the earth, wherein there is life, I have given every green herb for meat: and it was so.

1: The Bible tells us to have dominion over the animals.
The animals represent your emotional characteristics, & personality traits, & your ever-changing feelings and actions.

Here are just a few examples:

Rule your emotions, and how you present yourself to the world

2: Have dominion over the birds (Enlightened), and the fish (Unenlightened).
The knowing of the enlightened, and the unknowing of those lost in the darkness of the bitter sea, but have potential for growth.

    • Birds: Knowing: Quickness of Thought: To alight, lighten, enlighten: as a messenger of things of the Spirit/spirit:

Luke 3:22 And the Holy Spirit descended in bodily form like a dove upon Him, and a voice came from heaven which said, “You are My beloved Son; in You I am well pleased.”

    • Fish: Unknowing: To be covered in darkness: And, To multiply by way of gathering or collecting: as in potentiality: Things of the spirit of men:

Matthew 4:19 Then He said to them, “Follow Me, and I will make you fishers of men.”

Knowing good & evil gives you understanding. So rule your thoughts and grow through understanding.

3: Rule the land and the trees (The pillars of truth of your character).
This is about aplying yourself and the slow-to-grow support structure of your spiritual house.

Each truth, or person teaches you a lesson, thus bearing fruit:

Mark 8:24 And he looked up and said, “I see men like trees, walking.”

Psalms 1:3 He shall be like a tree Planted by the rivers of water, That brings forth its fruit in its season, Whose leaf also shall not wither;

Matthew 15:13 But He answered and said, “Every plant which My heavenly Father has not planted will be uprooted.

Matthew 3:10 And even now the ax is laid to the root of the trees. Therefore every tree which does not bear good fruit is cut down and thrown into the fire.

Genesis 2:16 And the LORD God commanded the man, saying, “Of every tree of the garden you may freely eat;

Remember Jesus was a carpenter like his father Joseph.

Matthew 13:55 Is this not the carpenter’s son?…

Mark 6:3 Is this not the carpenter

They worked with wood to join it together and fashion it into a house. (IE: A house divided [Matthew 12:25; Mark 3:25; Luke 11:17], house built on sand [Matthew 7:26], speck of sawdust/plank in your own eye [Matthew 7:3; Luke 6:41)

The trees are both people, & the truths we gather from them that grows our support structure. This is symbolic of our solid and growing character and our understanding. (Psalms 1:3; Jeremiah 17:8)

Mark 8:24 …”I see men like trees, walking.” (People on their spiritual journey)

Grass (Physical life and its beauty and transient nature) [Psalms 103:15;Isaiah 40:6]

Herbs (Spiritual gifts and understandings).

[Read about the men (Thought = mind) and women (Wisdom = spirit) below.]

Eat the meat of them all [Meat is the heart and strength of a thing. It means the deepest knowledge and understanding)

We are being made into HIS image! Be like God and Rule Your world!

Read this passage below and tell me if it makes more sense to you now that you see yourself as God sees you, as the world and being made to be like him?

Genesis 1:26
And God said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness: and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over the cattle, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth.

The Bible is full of so much you may not know. All of the words chosen have a dual and more meanings at the same time. There is the literal meaning you already know but knowing the spiritual meaning gets you much deeper into the parts that are a self-help book designed to teaching you to rule you.

Mark 4:11 And He said to them, “To you it has been given to know the mystery of the kingdom of God; but to those who are outside, all things come in parables,

If we don’t have this insider understanding it doesn’t matter how many times you read the Bible you will always be just one of the crowd that Jesus is talking to in parables and not hearing nor seeing his point he is making.

Here is an example:

John 13:7 Jesus answered and said to him, “What I am doing you do not understand now, but you will know after this.”

9 Simon Peter said to Him, “Lord, not my feet only, but also my hands and my head!”

These 3 objects are not just merely what they seem. They all have a spiritual meaning to them.

Hands mean: Your actions and works. The things you do: build, create, heal… or hurt destroy and tear down.

Your head is: Your thoughts. Thinking is a huge part of the Bible.

Head = thoughts (Mind)

Hands=actions (Body)

Feet=choices Wisdom (Spirit)

Feet are the choices we make along our spiritual walk or journey because life comes in steps or rather stages and every choice is a branching in the road. We need to be wise to make the right choice.

So basically when Christ says

“He who is bathed needs only to wash his feet, but is completely clean…”

He is really saying. Peter your thoughts are pure and good Peter. You have clean thoughts. Peter, your works you do are also pure and clean. You do very good things… but Peter. The choices you make Peter… well, your a hot head and you need help to make the right choices.

14 If I then, your Lord and Teacher, have washed your feet, you also ought to wash one another’s feet.

15 For I have given you an example, that you should do as I have done to you.

… so we are supposed to play the servant and help each other make the right choices.

This is the beauty in the Word that we are all so blind to see. Ever seeing but NEVER perceiving.

So back to you and the world. All the names in the Bible are also PARAMOUNT. They are the most amazing and important parts. A male name is a leading and ruling thought. People are faculties of your world and thus faculties of your spirit and mind. The man rules his home. This is your spiritual abode. Your spiritual center. To rule your house you need a leader hence the male of the household. A man’s name is again a type of ruling precept hence the names Jesus, Solomon, Moses, and David. They are Freedom, Peace, Drawn or lead in spirit and Love.

The men are thoughts and women are wisdom and intuition. A wisdom marries to a thought. Knowledge is married to wisdom and gives birth to an understanding. A child then becomes a new thought or reasoning thus replacing the old one ruling the house. The whole sections in the Bible with begot, begot, begot is stating this order. From this ruling thought came this ruling thought and so-on and so-forth. God is using life to speak directly to us!

In example:

Say you have a thought and you think “I’m hungry, I should eat something”. So this will be a man. We will give him the name of Hunger. Hunger wants to eat and he thinks and knows food is the right idea to satisfy his hunger.

Now Hunger meets up with a choice. “What do I eat? There is nothing in the house.”

Now his choices are two women he’s dating at the same time. (That dog)

One woman says “Hey, let’s go steal something to eat. We could have some fun and dine and dash. We go to a restaurant eat then run out. It’ll be exciting. You don’t have to pay for it and it will satisfy your hunger. It’s a win-win. Sure there is a little risk but hey aren’t I worth it to make me happy?”…. We will call her Passion (Hubba Hubba)

Now the other lady says “Well, let’s go to the store and buy some food and go home and make something together to eat? We get to spend some time together and get to have some fun making something meaningful that we can enjoy together”… We will call her Patience.

Passion wants it now and wants excitement, whereas Patience wants it good and correct and is willing to take the time to build something rather than use it up and discard it once done with it. These women represent a choice. They are two wisdoms like the first several chapters of Proverbs. Both make a lot of sense in their reasoning but only one will the man choose. Once the man chooses a wisdom he will stay joined to it because it suits his way of thinking. To choose both would not satisfy either. Hence, a house divided can not stand.

Mark 3:25; Luke 11:17; Matthew 12:25 But Jesus knew their thoughts, and said to them: “Every kingdom divided against itself is brought to desolation, and every city or house divided against itself will not stand.

Just like men and women this is how it works in the Bible as well. We have a thought: Hunger wants to satisfy his hunger.

  • Hunger of a spiritual beast is a passion who eats by tearing apart and destroying in its consumption and then searches for new food to devour and destroy when he hungers again.
  • Hunger of a Spiritual man is a patience and a desire to plant something, to make something that will be there to satisfy his hunger once he is hungry. Nothing is harmed or destroyed. It feels good and honorable to eat what was grown by your own hands vs. taking what is not offered to you or a result of your own good deeds.

So the spiritual man Hunger will satisfy his hunger in honor and he will marry to the wisdom that best suits his goal, Patience. He will do everything he can to protect his wisdom and choice and see his goal is achieved. And once he joins to this wisdom a new reasoning will appear.

Wisdom (Patience) and Thought (Hunger) join and a new thought or reasoning now takes its place. Hunger gives birth to Satisfaction because Patience gave him satisfaction. Thus one day this Satisfaction will grow and when Hunger dies it will make room for Satisfaction to rule the house.

This is how all the names of people work in the Bible. The people represent our spiritual and mental faculties of our life. This is why the Jews were not to marry outside of the Jews. So they would not pollute the goodness growing within. To pollute it is to spoil the goodness that you are trying to grow and that take goodness (Nation) will rule over the cities within you. Let your goodness multiply and have dominion of your world.

Once you know the code or this spiritual sign language you will see all things differently. Like the animals. The animals are actually our clothing.

We wear animal hair and skins in the Bible. Even the Lord made skins for Adam and Eve to wear. It was believed by the Egyptians that the animals were created as clothes and cast off from us. Every day you go through many actions and have many feelings and this is your nature. The animals are your nature and actions. This is all explained more below but you need some more foundation to understand it fully.

I know you have read for a while but I am going to give you a little deeper understanding here so please be patient. If you read this far you are already on a track to a greater understanding. Take a break. Rest come back and start fresh. This stuff is really interesting and I don’t want you to lose focus. This is important!

Now Greeks and Hebrews are not so very far removed from each other as many people may think. For one huge example look at the alphabet of both cultures. The writing is fairly different but the phonetics are about the same :

Hebrew / Greek:

Alef / Alpha,
Beit / Beta,
Gimel / Gamma,
Dalet / Delta …
Zayin / Zeta …
Teit / Theta,
Yod – Jod / Iota,
Khaf / Kappa,
Lamed / Lambda,
Mem / Mu,
Nun / Nu …
Pei / Pi …
Reish / Rho,
Shin / Sigma,
Tav / Tau.

Also look at the Bible itself. What languages is it written in? Hebrew for the “Old Testament” (The Tanakh) and Greek for the “New Testament“. The Old Testament has a very little bit of Aramaic (Which is a kind of derivative of Hebrew) thrown in but Hebrew is the primary. So the Hebrews and Greeks are not so far removed as you thought, hmm?

Now there are many symbolic meanings in both Hebrew and Greek that mean the same thing. They are also shared a bit with Egyptians as well. Remember Moses, the father of the Bible was raised Egyptian for the first 40 years of his life. These cultures have a lot of shared roots so you will see a lot of similarities like the Zodiac (Greek, Roman, Egyptian) and the 12 tribes of Israel. You will also see these same things are mirrored in Rome as well. After all, all the same stories of the mythical gods were shared in both Greek and Roman mythologies.

These 4 great powers of the time share a great many common bonds. Greece used to be the center for all things of logic and the Ionian islands were the center for much of modern thought and invention. Alexandria Egypt (Named after Alexander the Great who conquered most of the known world) was later the most powerful port city in the world, and all ships that came to Alexandria (And that was everyone!) had all the books and scrolls on board confiscated and were only returned once they were finished being copied. They had a repository of over a million books and scrolls there! All the world’s written knowledge was held here! In fact much of the Bible we have today was assembled in Alexandria Egypt.

Unfortunately most of all of that knowledge held in the library was lost thanks to a bunch of zealous Christians that went in and burned the entire place down… They were cleaning house for, ready for this “The Rapture”. That was a huge loss to the world. Thanks brothers. We need to be mindful of our actions today as well! Apparently the extent of the knowledge lost is not fully relearned even today. Things like there was an aluminum they found that has properties that we have not been able to reproduce by today’s modern science. What a tragic loss for mankind.

Now there is also Rome. I don’t think I need to say much about the power of the Roman empire. I think their record speaks for itself as we see they are still in charge during the entire New Testament of the Bible.

These four great powers come together very profoundly in the Bible and are mentioned in a way I bet even you didn’t know.

John 19:20 Then many of the Jews read this title, for the place where Jesus was crucified was near the city; and it was written in Hebrew, Greek, and Latin.

23 Then the soldiers, when they had crucified Jesus, took His garments and made four parts, to each soldier a part, and also the tunic. Now the tunic was without seam, woven from the top in one piece.

There are four soldiers mentioned here. It is not by chance that there are four. Four is an amazing number in the Bible. Four great powers are all fighting over the possessions of Jesus. These are representative of the four horns on the Alter as well. We will look into that in more detail later but know that a horn means power and there are four powers here in contention over his clothes.

Now a garment is the thing that covers our nakedness or rather our shame. The outer garment is representative of your actions and animal nature. The Egyptians used to believe that the animals were created as part of our shedding of our emotional clothing. It’s your nature of who you are. That is why many outer garments are made from animal hair and skins. This representation is even seen in the Garden of Eden

Genesis 3:21 Also for Adam and his wife the LORD God made tunics of skin, and clothed them.

This was symbolic for showing their animal nature. It also has to do with Adam naming the animals and why a suitable helper was not found amongst the animals for him. There was no suitable animal nature fitting for man to join to so instead the Lord created Woman. A thought joining to an understanding as women represents wisdom and men are a ruling thought or principle. So a thought leads but is guided with understanding. We see this animal spirit echoed in most cultures where we are represented by animals. It’s all over in Egyptian, European, Asian and Native American themes. In the martial arts you have your kung-fu animal techniques that represent your spirit. Or your animal guide in most Native American cultures. Or the animal sigil on a coat of arms in a European royal house. Yes it’s here in North America too. The symbol of freedom of mind and spirit is?… any guesses? [Deuteronomy 32:11; Proverbs 23:5 ]

So the outer garment represents your active nature that you most identify to.

Matthew 3:4 Now John himself was clothed in camel’s hair, with a leather belt around his waist; and his food was locusts and wild honey.

A camel is known as the “Ship of the Desert” and a ship means a prophet. (The between of the divided waters. A bridge of the spirits) The camel is a the symbol for a prophet for it’s tenacity and endurance as well as being a beast of burden. Not to mention the mountain (Nation) on it’s back full of water (Spirit & truth).

Leather is that of an Ox. An ox means service because of its strength and willingness to work hard for its master. A belt means to draw strength in closeness [Isaiah 22:21; Ephesians 6:14]. So John’s clothes is explaining who he is in his nature. He’s a prophet that doesn’t give up and draws strength in his service.

"The Golden Calf Incident" digital art by Ted Larson

The Wild Honey and Locust are explained in the next two verses as well:

5 Then Jerusalem, all Judea, and all the region around the Jordan went out to him

6 and were baptized by him in the Jordan, confessing their sins

The locust are a multitude and honey means something you find sweet, usually it is used for representing words [Psalms 119:103; Proverbs 16:24]. But these words are wild. Anything not domesticated by God is wild and therefore sinful. So John eats the locust = multitude (Jerusalem, all Judea, and all the region around the Jordan) and the wild honey (confessing their sins).

Now both of these things are eaten. To eat something means to take it in and make it a part of you. Hence, you always hear about the Devil wanting to swallow your soul [Proverbs 1:12]. He wants to make you join and be a part of him.

So by understanding these few things about what John the Baptist wore and ate you can know a lot more about this person and what they stand for and represent. John the Baptist (John meaning: The gracious gift of God, or by way of to incline, to bend down and help. So let’s call him grace and mercy for now) took the multitude and their sins and took them upon himself as being his burden because he too is as the beast of burden (Camel hair and Leather belt) and brought them to together (as a prophet. A boat that brings good things from afar place [Proverbs 31:14]). The boat bridges the waters and joins the spirits of God and man so they can come into union with God (Eats locust and wild honey). So, what it means is that mercy and grace helps us to join together with God by way of confessing our old ways as being flawed and sinful. Admitting you were wrong is the path to balance and freedom of the spirit.

So the soldiers separated the clothes of Jesus into four. This is the path of the Bible. It starts in Egypt with Moses and goes east to Jerusalem. This is the Old Testament. But then with the New Testament it goes North to Greece and it is written entirely in Greek. But it does not end there. It then goes west to Rome and as you know the Roman Catholic church almost single-handedly kept Christianity going all these centuries and it became what it is today through them, for good and for bad.

So the Bible went East, North, West and the writings end in Rome but the Bible was assembled back down South in Alexandria Egypt! The four corners of the altar are four horns and four powers all claim rights to the creation of the Holy Scriptures. All four have a good claim to it!

These same powers are seen with Peter as well

Acts 12:4 So when he had arrested him, he put him in prison, and delivered him to four squads of soldiers to keep him, intending to bring him before the people after Passover.

Peter meaning the “Rock” or rather the foundation the church is built upon was watched over by 4 powers. The founding faith was being watched by four powers.. But as for Jesus we see these soldiers (4 powers) dividing up His outer garments (What he represents and his actions and nature) . Remember clothes make the man. So they divide up the garments but when it comes to the under tunic they don’t know what to do with it because it is made perfect and without seam. Woven from the top down from God and without seam so without flaw. It is a flawless truth and though Christ’s actions we can divide amongst ourselves we can not divide the truth. So they decide to cast lots instead of ripping it apart.

John 19:24 They said therefore among themselves, “Let us not tear it, but cast lots for it, whose it shall be,” that the Scripture might be fulfilled which says: ” They divided My garments among them, And for My clothing they cast lots.” Therefore the soldiers did these things.

The undergarment or tunic is the most important of your clothes. The outer garment is your personality and active nature but the undergarment is of a cloth not made of a hair or skins, so this is not about your more transitory and animal side of your personality. The tunic is made of plant cloth and it is your truth that you live by. Fine linen is soothing to the skin and it covers your nakedness (Shame). A pure white linen is used to cover your shameful ways.

(Notice there is no outer coat?)

Revelation 19:8 And to her it was granted to be arrayed in fine linen, clean and bright, for the fine linen is the righteous acts of the saints.

This Outer Coat and under Tunic are a major theme in the Bible.

Luke 6:29 To him who strikes you on the one cheek, offer the other also. And from him who takes away your cloak, do not withhold your tunic either.

In other words if someone wants to scrutinize your actions and deeds or imitate your personality, let him. But also share your truth and let them imitate your righteous actions as well. Basically it means to show the world who you are and give them also the truth that covers your shame and makes you clean before God.

Mark 6:9 but to wear sandals, and not to put on two tunics.

Matthew 10:10 nor bag for your journey, nor two tunics, nor sandals, nor staffs; for a worker is worthy of his food.

Luke 9:3 And He said to them, “Take nothing for the journey, neither staffs nor bag nor bread nor money; and do not have two tunics apiece.

These versus about tunics are referring for you to be of one mind and do not take with you two truths. The Holy scriptures are the only truth you need to cover the same of you and others.

Luke 3:11 He answered and said to them, “He who has two tunics, let him give to him who has none; and he who has food, let him do likewise.”

Now because the inner garment is in direct contact with your skin you want the ease it creates. You do not in any way want the roughness of an animal hair near your skin because it hurts and symbolically it shows you are an animal and have no way to cover your shame. This is why people would show they were sorry and unworthy and would wear sackcloth and sit in ashes.

Sackcloth was generally black and made of goat hair. Black for being in stained in darkness versus the clean white of the righteous.

Revelation 19:14 And the armies in heaven, clothed in fine linen, white and clean, followed Him on white horses.

Now the goat hair as in that of the goat which is in opposition to the lamb of sacrifice. They are cousin animals but they are opposites. The lamb (Means to move forward in faith and obedience) is the sacrifice that takes upon it the sins and is consumed by God. Hence made one with God. Verses the Goat

Leviticus 16:10 But the goat on which the lot fell to be the scapegoat shall be presented alive before the LORD, to make atonement upon it, and to let it go as the scapegoat into the wilderness.

The scapegoat is unworthy and sent back into the world and away from God’s house and his people and carries with it the blame for the sin the lamb took away. It’s kind of a “Look what you did! YOU DID THIS! Now get out of here you dirty goat!” The goat represents our worldly-self and though we are nurtured by the milk of the goat (Life) it is not our ideal animal to be represented as it. But it is still a clean animal by the Law of Moses for the fact that life is our teacher and gives us milk. But goats eat endlessly and will eat anything without discernment (Endless sinful desire to make all things one with you; not you with all things. This is the basis of lust, greed, envy & gluttony. When you don’t get it you get wrath or sloth. The root is pride or vanity because you think you deserve all things to being joined to you or to want to be like you) where as the lamb only eats of the choicest of grasses (The righteous).

So people would put on this sack cloth to show they were sinners and it really meant they were sorry for being this way and they were in a way confessing their sinfulness to all the world by putting on this display of clothes.

They also sat in ash heaps.

Daniel 2:5 … you shall be cut in pieces, and your houses shall be made an ash heap.

This is representative of your spiritual house being burnt down and sitting in its ruins. So just saying you were wearing sack cloth and sat in an ash heap shows you are a lowly animal and all your wisdom was for nothing. So you are willing to get rid of your old ways and start rebuilding from there.

The language of the symbols in the bible is very powerful and it really helps to convey a much richer and deeper meaning in things. So it is important to remember these things and carry them with you for later use in life and in your scriptural readings. Without these understanding the scriptures will not have the same richness in meaning. Hence the treasures the Bible mentions over and over.

51 thoughts on “The Rapture… HOW TO READ THE BIBLE! … Please share this”

  1. Jam packed with lots of food for thought. I will have to reread it once again. I have always loved symbolism and the more I study the word, the more I see it. I look forward to reading more of your posts.

  2. phew! it was all worth reading. thank you very much for sharing this. i have always wanted to learn the scriptures of God, i bought big bibles, small bibles, and i even downloaded one on my ipad. i have tried reading each of them many times but failed, i found it boring because i couldn’t relate to the stories. but after reading this, i can’t wait to open my bible again! :) you have given me a more exciting way to know God and the Truths He wants me to realize. Thank you so much! :)

    1. Wow, that is high praise. If you would like some deeper and more practicle insights into how this works and is applied feel free to email me and maybe we can even call and connect sometime. Have a great day and God Bless

  3. “He that has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit said to the churches;” Revelation 2:7

At the end of each letter to the churches, in Revelation, there is the admonition to “hear” and then a blessing to those that overcome. I always understood that there was much more to “hear” throughout the entirety of the scriptures. More than just face value, but was never quite sure where to begin understanding.

You’ve given a more than adequate beginning. . . (I’m sure you know what I’m going to say ;-) ).

  4. I will enjoy wandering through this marvellous blog filled with much cool information- I have always loved the derivation and meanings of names and see the Bible in just the same way- a key and a message to freedom. thank you.

  5. You really make it seem so easy with your presentation but I find this matter to be actually something that I think I would never understand. It seems too complex and extremely broad for me. I am looking forward for your next post, I will try to get the hang of it!

  6. Because of the controversial nature of this post, I decided to do a skim-read of it and had a few red flags. The biggest being that the Bible is “all about you.” Our whole walk, as Christians, is to keep our eyes on God, just like how Peter was only able to walk on the water when he kept his focus on Christ. When we change our focus from God to ourselves, we’ll soon realize that we are very needy and crave the glory that rightfully belongs to Jesus Christ, our Creator, Provider, Healer and Sustainer.

It’s always nice to think things like, “God created ME special,” “God really loves ME,” and these are both true, but it makes us forget that God doesn’t need anything from us – we were created for His pleasure.

You imply that we first need to help ourselves before we help others, but didn’t Jesus teach us about sacrificial love; putting others first? As an example, look at the parable of the good samaritan. He didn’t find the half-dead man and think, “Hmmm, I have a bunch of problems, I better solve these before I help this man.”

Let me say this: no man or woman can fix themselves on their own power and strength – it’s only through obedience in Christ that a man or woman can be changed.

Keep your focus on Christ and you will find yourself in a spiritual place of peace and rest, and physically doing the things Christ desires of you.

    1. It helps if you read the post and NOT skim it. It is NOT all about “me” or even being special. There are levels going on here that you will not pick-up on by merely skimming this topic, fearing that your soul may be in danger of falling into a trap if you honestly read the post. It is Not about “Me First” but it is about healing your soul so that you can help others better. As a “Christian” culture we tend to fear what is new to us, and we resist it. I don’t blame you for you precautions, but unfortunately you will also miss out as many have through the years, on the greatest truth’s the Bible holds in store for you and your spiritual health. None of this site is meant to deter you from your church’s views or teachings. It is just meant to help you understand the symbolic language the Bible is written in, where real events mirror spiritual truths. This is how the Spirit speaks to your spirit of understanding. And fearing this may disconnect your earthly understanding from these spiritual truths… till maybe you shed this mortal coil of life and have all things revealed in the perfection of God’s presence.

If you don’t care to read this post, please feel free to go about your daily life as previous to coming here. But as a humble request for the future, please do not comment on something you have no intimate knowledge about. It only furthers the image of the stereotypical modern Christian the world at large has grown to despise for it’s quick judgment and hypocritical views. I don’t understand the idea of casting stones of judgment, rather than understanding a thing first. It’s like having an ingrown toenail and chopping off the entire foot to keep the “disease” from spreading. Spend a moment to fix the real problem, the nail, and not cause the entire spiritual body to limp its way into Heaven just so that you might feel better. Physician, heal thy self. And the whole body will be better for it.

Sorry if this came off sounding snippy, but I assure you this chastisement is purely meant in love and utmost respect for a fellow believer.

      Daniel Lyons

PS. Sadly, you said most of the right things, only in the wrong place

      1. Hi Daniel,
You shouldn’t confuse skimming your post with a lack of knowledge of your topic. Don’t misunderstand this, but I was at bible college for 4 years, and have studied this topic quite a bit – I’m not saying that so you respect me, I’m just saying it so you understand my background. After studying, I went against my Bible college and became a Preterist, much to the dismay of all my professors who are deeply rooted in the Rapture, which I was up until 4 years ago when I started doing some heavy study to prune what I actually believe. As you can see, I don’t fear new teaching, and the main reason I am here is because you decided to follow my blog, and if you read any of my posts on my eschatological theology, you’d know that if I made my statements about the rapture, we’d have much less of a discussion.
If you took the chance to know me rather than judge me, you’d discover that I’m nothing like the typical Christian that you run into.
Unfortunately, you took my words as condemnation when they were, as you stated, chastisement in love. If I knew you’d be offended with how I skim read your post; I mostly did it because I read a few of your other posts to get a sense of what you believe, and once I saw this mammoth post, I didn’t quite have the attention span to read it all word for word (I’m not the fastest reader on the block). I understand the bigger picture behind this post, so why would I talk about something that we agree on, and have a short conversation? Disagreement brings pruning, and a broader sense of wisdom.

PS: there is no wrong place to discuss the importance of Jesus as the center of the universe and our lives.

        1. It’s all well and good. SO I highlighted the word “if” in the one sentence you seemed to have missed. It is okay to focus on your self improvement “if” you have others as the goal.

The Bible has two truths at the same time. The physical truth learned by watching the lives of others and then applying those truths to yourself. A physical truth of observation, and then a spiritual truth that applies to you and builds up you character.

This is what this is about. Not setting yourself up as the center of your life, but rather finding the center of your character and beliefs so that then you can applying them in your action and reactions to others. You mirror God in how you handle yourself so we need to carry ourselves as such.

I have in fact, been going back through this post and trying to make it more clear. IT TAKES A LOT OF TIME to do this. But this is a central post and a foundation for everything I am teaching here. Just please believe this is not some crazy ramblings but a part of our Christian experience that is overlooked and neglected. And thanks to you, I am refining the process so that others can follow along easier and with less debate.

Anyhow, I do value your opinions and I like that you came back to post your side of the story. I like that. It shows your true Christ like qualities that come from your heart.

          PS. Sorry

  7. Hey Daniel.

  8. I haven’t yet finished your long post yet, but what I have read (up to God & gods) has been very interesting and insightful. Your take on cities is unlike anything I’ve come across before. Nice work. Looking forward to reading the rest of it when I have more time.

And thanks for following my blog: f-stop fantasy (

You might be interested in checking out my other blog: The Biblical Apologist ( Here, I search out interesting and not-so-traditional Biblical subjects to write about.

  9. I like this post! It tells the truth about the Rapture as life now, not some escapist theology that was never uttered by Jesus.

Also thanks for stopping by my blog. Glad you liked the “Why Christmas?” post.

  10. Wonderful! yes, consider my mind blown and my world rocked, and I thought I had a pretty good understanding of the Bible. It was a pleasure to read, despite it’s length, and I can’t wait to share it. Thank you so much for following my blog so that I could find yours! I can’t wait to read through your other posts.

  11. God created the human body in his image; to know the truth; you have to become the words that you believe is the truth, if they are the truth; your body will live from life of the words; if they are not, the words will live from life of your body.

  12. Have you written anywhere else on your blog about the rapture? Other than at the top of this page? Quite a few years ago I attended a very small bible study extremely simliar to yours. Might just the same, I haven’t had time to read all of yours yet. In our study we saw that the rapture as talked about in many churches will not be this mysterious, crazy earth shaking event whereby only christians will be “taken” up to heaven and the non-christians left behind to suffere seven years of hell. Instead it is a blink of an eye moment in time where a new heaven and a new earth is made. Just as the story of Noah shows. You have a great testimony and I am taking my time to read through your site. So glad to see you sharing this good news. Linda

  13. ‘Looking to Jesus the author and finisher of our faith; who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is set down at the right hand of the throne of God.’
    Hebrews 12:2

I look forward to anything that is set before me with joy, inc persecution.

    1. It’s in the words “Rapture” means: great joy and enlightenment. “Persecution”: means to be annoyed, harassed or punished. What would you prefer?

We all sin. Do you honestly think that if you find the peace that God so desires for you to have, that you should also be punished after you find that peace? There is reward for the spirit in kindness, and giving, and mercy, and letting go of all the sins of the past… that reward is a light heart. Guilt is a motivator but it is also a tool you use to learn that what you did in ignorance and foolishness, but in the light you see you were only a beast acting on beastly things.

God wants to turn you into a “Man”. Not a male gender wise, but a being like God, knowing right from wrong, good from evil. Not into a “GOD”, just into an enlightened being, like a child mirroring their Father. Take on His attributes, like He illustrated in His other son Jesus Christ who is our role model and guide. We too, all of us, are sons of God, because it has to do with your spiritual inheritance. What I am saying is, your past is your past. Use it to shape who you are today and put it behind you. If you feel you need to make amends somehow, then do it, but put it away. But once you are done, move forward. Constantly move forward. Remove what holds you back and climb your spiritual mountain of truth till you reach your summit and look, as Moses did, into the pure unhidden face of God, your Father, who loves you, and only wants you to mirror him. Persecution is not in this equation of loving and growing. That is the Devil’s work, who is called the persecutor and accuser, constantly going before God pointing out your flaws. But Jesus is our our advocate. Not our persecutor. Others may do it to you, but they to are ignorant beast wallowing around in their own personal darkness. You are called to be a child of light. Be the light.

    1. I can only answer on the level of the spirit, and not on the level of a religious point of view or dogmatic views of Scriptures. On the level of the soul the essence of the Trinity (as some people call it) is the unity of mind, body and spirit.

Our trinity mirrors the Spirit of God’s.
Father, Son, Holy Spirit = Mind, Body and Spirit.

Look at the symbol the Catholic church uses as the cross, when you cross yourself.
      Head = Father (Mind)
Stomach = Son (Flesh or Body).
And then you cross your heart, also known as you spiritual center Heart = Holy Spirit (Sprit).

We are meant to reflect and mirror God. The tri-union, in union, with our three elements, is the essence of even the Star of David. Two interlocking triangles. God and Man, in union.

So to answer your question, the duality in the meanings of the words of Scriptures is also in agreement, or also mirrors the tri-union you mentioned. This unity of spirits is separate, from the duality of the words used to explain spiritual truth’s in the Bible. I hope this makes sense.

  14. Excellent and very well thought out. You must have spent hours (or years) in formulating this message. I am impressed… a powerful argument based on and solely on Scripture.

    1. Firstly, this is HIS message not mine. I am only the tool he chose to use.

But you have NO IDEA how hard this was to figure out! It drove me crazy till I figured it out. I read, prayed and meditated so much and so hard, and little pieces would start to form. Oh, but God was talking to me and through me. I made some mistakes as I went and found I had to backtrack and looked again from all angles, but I knew something was taking form. I knew the lessons I was being taught at Churches varied from church to church and something was fundamentally missing. I have even heard my religious leaders say that “Oh here Jesus made a mistake” And I was thinking “WHAT?!!” After much prayer and studies I started to learn that there were themes and symbols and names being overlooked. Piecing together the puzzle drove me nuts… but the day I cracked it I felt like I wanted to sing and dance. It was like a part of me was held mute for so long and I just wanted to share this with everyone, and shout from the roof tops! So this is where the blog started. I asked several people what to do to share what I learned. You can not imagine the resistance I got at every turn from EVERYONE on this journey of discovery!

I would hear things like “Don’t try to interpret scriptures. They can’t be understood.” Or “So, what good is it to know this stuff? No one cares or wants to know. It is too hard for them anyways. This is only for Bible theologians not anyone else”. And I am screaming in my soul “WHAT DO YOU MEAN PEOPLE ARE TO DUMB TO UNDERSTAND OR CARE TO? WHAT DO YOU MEAN THIS ISN’T IMPORTANT? THIS IS EVERYTHING!” Most churches are only scratching round on the surface and not knowing the real depth and beauty this book really holds. These are simple secrets to unlocking real truth within you that have been lost for centuries, because they were sharing only what was needed to control the masses and not giving them the true freedom that existed just below the surface. When you read these things your heart kind of goes “Ooooh, yeah! I get it. I knew that already somehow.” Cuz you do. It’s written on your heart already. But without looking for it we kind of just forget it was there, and it gets lost, and we get confused with our lives. But reveling the truth is just reveling what is already there. It is simply the act of shedding a little light on what you already have hidden within you.

To me, it’s like seeing the face of God for the first time in full clarity, if you will. We have been seeing but not perceiving for so long and the most amazing parts of Scriptures have been left unsaid… Sorry, on a soap box here.

Anyhow, it was a long, hard, uphill battle fighting against every “Christian” I met, who resisted the notion that there could be more to the understandings of what they were taught by others. But I knew God was calling me, and I could feel him using me… and all that CRAZY AMOUNTS OF RESISTANCE. But… I… KNEW…I… COULD… NOT… STOP, till HIS work was done that He was doing though me, was finished. And my friend, this race has only just begun.

PLEASE SHARE THIS SITE AND MESSAGE. It has only just begun… plant seeds and watch this baby grow!!

      Blessings Brother,
      Daniel Lyons

      1. I agree with the thought that you don’t need to be a doctoral student of theology to understand God’s desire–freedom through Christ Jesus. We undervalue the power of the Spirit to bring light to darkened minds, ours included, and we overestimate educational degrees. This is not a diatribe against education. Knowing Greek or Hebrew adds to one’s understanding but only “the Spirit of God knows the mind of God.”

I appreciate your soul hunger to know and share God’s truth.

      2. Have you ever read ‘The Marriage of Heaven and Hell’ by William Blake (1757–1827)? He was an illustrator too, so do read his illustrated version, and as much of his other work as you can! Your insights are astonishingly close to his – how can that be? You will be one of the few people who will really understand the truthfulness of his visionary ‘prophetic’ poems.

Perhaps my most generous gift I can give you – in recognition of and in reciprocation for your own – is to bring this to your attention. Thank you for bridging across to me via my blog.

  15. I’ve come to a similar understanding about the Bible being about the reader, but didn’t get too far pass that point before I stopped writing and took another lead off. Praying for my boldness in what I learn spending time with Him. Thanks for sharing this. Praise God for your boldness.

  16. This is a book not a blog, but your message is right on! Your explanation of the bible is very accurate, although I see a few differences from the way I teach it. Thanks for this beautifully written Wisdom!

  17. I enjoyed this read right up until when you called us ‘gods.’ God is supposed to rule us. NOT us ruling our own world. Where in the Bible does it say we are our own kings? I honestly do not know this one, so you may correct me if I’m wrong. And the Bible calls Jesus our King. So He should rule, not us. I really enjoyed the symbolism—where did you learn this stuff? I want to learn more. God bless!

    1. Read it again. :)
All things in scriptures comes with a duality. A physical thing and a spiritual significance that mirrors it. Usually the meaning to the spiritual side is hidden in the name of a thing. The name we know today as Jesus means “Savior”. He is our savior as in he frees us from the bondage we are in to the things of the physical world and its desires. Understand his name as symbolically meaning freedom. Now on the level of the soul, symbolically speaking, you are the world, and all the cities are representative as a state of being of your soul. Now what rules a city? A king! A king rules a city. Now Jesus is known as the “King of all kings”. He is also known as our LORD and King which means, to rule… So take his name of Freedom, and let that freedom he gives, rule the cities of your soul! Let Jesus be the king of freedom within you by letting him be Lord of your mental and emotion states of being, as well as the physical king of the actual real world. Let spiritual freedom rule your life. Be free in the spirit and find peace by letting go of the things that once ruled you but now have no more control over you.

      John 10
34 Jesus answered them, “Is it not written in your law, ‘I said, “You are gods” ‘?

35 If He called them gods, to whom the word of God came (and the Scripture cannot be broken),

Also, if you have learned to master all of you spiritual self. And can truly control yourself in mind, body and spirit… then you rule your spiritual world as a “god” over your spiritual world. This is not to be confused with GOD our father who rules EVERYTHING. It is you simply mirroring the attributes of your/our Father in heaven. We are being made into His image. So to be like your Father you must also be made into His son. (NOT JESUS, but the qualities Jesus represents in our life).

Romans 8:17 and if children, then heirs — heirs of God and joint heirs with Christ, if indeed we suffer with Him, that we may also be glorified together.

On a spiritual level, we all need to be heirs to obtain our inheritance, and a child mirrors the image of its Father, like prodigal sons returned. We were all once lost… But now we get a hearty “Welcome home son” :)

    1. Thank you. I wrote it at a time when I had so much on my mind and I just needed to get it out before I burst. It is a little raw and VERY LONG, but if you can cypher through it, there is a world a treaures waiting to be opened. I plan, as the blog continues, to repost much of this in a more understandable fashion. The “Chapter” posts are from a book I am trying to write on spiritual insights I have learned. Funny thing is I never used to write before. This whole thing is so new to me, but God is working on and through my life and he is transforming and improving all the millions of little pieces, of who I am, and making me whole, piece by piece. Please continue to follow my blog and PLEASE tell a friend. And together we can learn to change the world! :)
