Jacob’s ladder:
Genesis 28: 10 Now Jacob went out from Beersheba and went toward Haran.11 So he came to a certain place and stayed there all night, because the sun had set. And he took one of the stones of that place and put it at his head, and he lay down in that place to sleep.12 Then he dreamed, and behold, a ladder was set up on the earth, and its top reached to heaven; and there the angels of God were ascending and descending on it. 13 And behold, the LORD stood above it and said: “I am the LORD God of Abraham your father and the God of Isaac; the land on which you lie I will give to you and your descendants.14 Also your descendants shall be as the dust of the earth; you shall spread abroad to the west and the east, to the north and the south; and in you and in your seed all the families of the earth shall be blessed.15 Behold, I am with you and will keep you wherever you go, and will bring you back to this land; for I will not leave you until I have done what I have spoken to you.” 16 Then Jacob awoke from his sleep and said, “Surely the LORD is in this place, and I did not know it.”17 And he was afraid and said, “How awesome is this place! This is none other than the house of God, and this is the gate of heaven!” 18 Then Jacob rose early in the morning, and took the stone that he had put at his head, set it up as a pillar, and poured oil on top of it.19 And he called the name of that place Bethel; but the name of that city had been Luz previously.20 Then Jacob made a vow, saying, “If God will be with me, and keep me in this way that I am going, and give me bread to eat and clothing to put on,21 so that I come back to my father’s house in peace, then the LORD shall be my God.22 And this stone which I have set as a pillar shall be God’s house, and of all that You give me I will surely give a tenth to You.”

You are a competent and confident teacher! I enjoyed listening to you discuss one of my favorite Old Testament passages. I cannot do anything right now to financially support a new ministry, but I can commit and purpose to pray for you and I believe God will open His storehouse. I can hear that your heart is really tuned to fulfilling what He is showing you as purpose and I believe He will build you up to further his work. May God bless you even more abundantly! Debra

Posted by When a Third World Came West | April 8, 2012, 3:02 pmNo, I wish. I borrow what I think will help sell the meaning of what I am saying the best. Some day I would love to have my own content featured here but I am still trying to get back up on my feet from the trials life has placed on me. I would love to have the time and money to take this kind of imagery… but I do with what I have. i am a graphic designer by trait so I make do with what is avaliable and try to give my readers the best I can give.
Posted by soulblindministry | April 8, 2012, 4:01 pmI look forward to listening and simply need to make the time to be more available. I admire your efforts tremendously, and believe you have a gifted minsitry. Debra

Posted by Three Well Beings | April 8, 2012, 4:56 pmI love these audio posts! I may not always have time to do much more than read the Bible, with all the “noise” in my life, so I have found these teachings invaluable. It has made me more aware of how I approach people. It has also made me think twice about the phrase “hard-headed”! Maybe being hard-headed is a positive thing?

Posted by soulblindministry | April 8, 2012, 12:28 pmThank you. Definitely sometime soon. Things have been so hectic lately, with tryin’ to start my business back up (on top of everything else). But there are a number of things I’d like to ask more about!
Posted by akateacher | April 9, 2012, 5:31 amDaniel incredible job! God is working through you and the best parts are the additions of the audio’s particularly important to the people of the world who cannot read, but can hear.
Through God’s gift of interpretation of scripture, you are helping so many to know Him, to love Him, to understand Him, to trust in Him and to “get His messages” for wholesome, loving living within this planet. For you I am grateful!
Blessings and continued prayers for your efforts to fall upon those who are seeking….
Always,
